I understand all the risk but is it really worth it? Since i made the decision 6 years ago to get them tied should i leave it at that? Is it possible for me to even have a pregnancy that is not in my tubes? The miscarriage that i had they believe it was not in my tubes.

It sounds like you had an ectopic pregnancy (a fertilized egg has implanted outside the uterus) Tubal ligation is about 99% effective if the doc did the procedure correctly.Your chances of having a healthy pregnancy is very slim as the same thing would most likely happen again (if you were to conceive again). If you are heart set on having another baby, you will need to get a tubal reversal and consult with your dr on the risks.

I had tubeligation 7 years ago,and am now in my 9th week of pregnancy, and it is NOT a tubal pregnancy, thank God. Mother nature has a way of doing her own thing. The thing is that I had weird lower abdomen pains for a couple of months, like something was pulling apart, could be that my tubes were "reconnecting"??? If you do a google search you will find that pregnancy between 5-10 years after tubeligation is not as uncommon as we think. All the best!

its possiable for your tubes to untie. My cousine 40+ had her tubes tied and recently got pregnant but baby did however pass at 8 weeks due to tubel pregnancy! I would definitly recommened you check if they have untied.. at 4 weeks its nearly impossiable to tell weather or not the baby was in your tubes!
even this can be reversed by Mother Nature.

I have never heard of getting pregnant after your tubes have been tied. Unless the doctor didn't do a good job when performing the procedure; otherwise, you can't get pregnant.

If you want have a child why are your tubes tied? If you want to have a child you should have the procedure reversed.

If you were already pg once since you had your tubes tied, I'd say chances are slim that it'd happen again.

I would advise to adopt, some women who have a tubal are more likely to have another one.

if they are only tied, you can have it reversed to get prenant; if you had tubal ligation where they are cut and cauterized, it is very rare to get pregnant....and cannot be reversed.
