no you don't sound like a paranoid preggy woman. think of it like this when you little cutie comes how, whether its dec. or jan. you have absolutely no control and there is nothing you can do so take deep breathes and relax . . . ask God to grant you the patience needed to relax as he is in control. not you.

Just stay calm. People have their own opinions. Don't let it worry you. You will be able to do your board exam in the beginning of Dec. Your baby either will come at the end of december or the beginning of January. Stop worrying because worrying can cause you to have an early labor. Think positive that you will get to do you exam with no problems. Studying for an exam is stressful enough, don't add on to it by worrying. You will be fine. I have seven children and neither of them came two or three weeks early. They all came no more than three days before my due date or five days after my due date.

Well first i want to say congrats on your pregnancy! Second don't worry about it hun, everything will go the way god and your baby want it to go! No one i know with there first pregnancy was that early. They are usalley a couple days earlyer or a couple days later not weeks earlyier. Take it day by day! Go to you national borad exam and if anything happens call the doctor! but i think you should be pretty safe.

Drink a lot of water, and lay down every two hours if you can. That will help A LOT with avoiding preterm labor.
Iam due 2 weeks after you, and have had horrible contractions (just BH contractions, not productive ones) and my doctor told me to stay hydrated (you go through SO much lfuids when you're pregnant, and even MORE when you're stressed and pregnant) and lay down whenever i felt my stomach was tight.
Study lying down, lay down before your exam, and after it. And remember, its only an exam, its only school. Its not worth the life of your child, so staying calm and letting what seems hugely important slide is the best thing you can do.

Your not paranoid its natural to be infatuated with your baby. Go look at all the questions I asked. Stress is not good for anyone pregnant or not. You have to relax. Let nature take its course. There is know way of telling exactly when you will have your baby so just sit back and enjoy your pregnancy and let things happen as mother nature intended.

Go study on the couch, feet up, glass of water. If you start feeling pain or anything, it's time to take a "me" break, take a bath, but not a hot one and just relax :) Calming music. I am due January 13th and know stress, I have step kids and my own 2 year old :) Who has just lost my cell phone... I need a bath...

I just gave birth to our first child 2 weeks ago and he was 3.5 weeks early. I also thought that the baby won't come until after the due date. I heard that walking helps induce labor, so I did a lot of walking during the beginning of my pregnancy. I also did prenatal yoga during the pregnancy.
There's nothing you can do when it comes to the arrival of your baby. Just relax and focus on your test. If he/she comes, you can probably talk to the professor to prospone your test date.

Take a deep breath. The baby will come when it's ready. The test is just a test. If you miss it, it will be for a good reason. I know a board test is a BIG DEAL, but so is becoming a mother. You can always take the test at a later time.

Calm down...a lot of babies come late...some come early.....some come right on time! (Mine were all late!) Chances are, as long as you have had a normal and healthy pregnancy then your baby will either be on time...or late! :) Worrying will not help any and stressing about it won't either. You don't have much time left to enjoy your pregnancy...you should take advantage! Get plenty of rest, eat healthy, drink plenty of water and take it easy....that is what you need to avoid premterm labor.
Good Luck and Congrats!!!
