I have used the ring for the past 4 months. Last month on the scheduled insertion date I was out of town & simply forgot to out it in when I got back.....I know, "duh"! 5 weeks later I still haven;t had a period, the urine test is negative & the dr. wants me to take another one in 2 weeks(she says it may be to early to know). In the meantime, insert a new ring. If I am pregnant counldn't this harm the fetus? What's the likelihood that I am pregnant ? Yes, there was unprotected sex.....often.

Skipping your holiday week might be amazing whether it is bobbing up, for the reason that it takes a couple of days in your egg to come to be fertilized, and in general 7-10 days earlier than it implants to your uterus. However, such a lot start manipulate approaches skinny out your endometrium (the liner of your uterus), which makes it problematic for an egg to implant in it. If you pass your holiday week, you're going to have that steady go with the flow of hormones into your frame that can scale back the hazard of the egg implanting to your uterus. But for those who nonetheless have two or three weeks earlier than your holiday week, I do not consider it might make that so much of a change. And you might use a brand new ring, now not the ancient one. You may additionally prefer to hold along with your holiday week, to be certain you get your interval. However, the plan B tablet would possibly reduce to rubble your interval, so do not fear an excessive amount of if it is irregular. You took plan B, so long as you took it inside that seventy two hour window and took each drugs as directed, there is now not plenty extra you'll do however wait and notice.
