If it lasts like this and increases for the next hour you should call your doctor.

Yes you most certainly are I myself can never have children but I have alot of sisters and friends that have had babies so I would know I also have done alot of reading up on it too. So yes you are in labor you need to get to the hospital right away. Don't wait to go if you are wanting an epidural because they usually wont give you one if you are over 4 cm dialated. And by the way Congratulations MOMMY.

1st call your doctor, they can check and let you know. How far along are you?
I had contractions 4 minutes appart until I was 4cm and they had to rupture my water. I had a very slow leak, I didn't know I was leaking, I was a little wet when I had woken up and that's all and nothing else after that. If I didn't call the doctor I would have just stayed home and who knows what could have happened. call your doctor, you don't want to have a slow leak and your baby loose fluid. If your water hasn't broke they will send you home

The answer will be given to you by your doctor. Go see. Generally though, if you are very happy and able to be up and around and busy during contractions, its probably early labor. If your mood is more serious and you have to stop what you are doing during the contraction, its time to go to the hospital. Call your doctor, he/she will tell you what to do.
