Hello All,
I am wondering what the chances of pregnancy are regarding my situation. My husband and I are NOT ttc but on May 11th had sex using the withdrawl method (only time we could have concieved) . He ejaculated outside and away from me, however I feel I was ovulating at this time. I the past month I have been under extreme stress as well as being on anti-biotics for 10 days for pneumonia. In the last 3 days I have had some very light brown spotting which sometimes happens before af arrives, however it could be implantation bleeding? I have taken 2 pregnancy test the earliest this morning which was neg. For those of you who are more educated about fertility, can you please help me figure out the chances. Thank you all so very much.

First of all I have two boys of my own and my sister has two also. The 3 y/o boy acts out all the time , I never had to go through what my sister goes through. My nephew cries at least 3 or more times a day about something. He climbs on shelves or kitchen counter and has turn on stove knobs. When they're out they alway have to hold his hand and not let go or he will run without stopping like its a game. He cries if you dont let him do what he wants when it extremely dangerous. He cries when anybody leaves the house bcuz he wants to go. He rarely goes to bed early he always up to midnight becuz he doesnt want to go to sleep. He's constanly looking for something to destroy or make a mess. We have to watch hes where abouts all the time. we're afraid to leave him unattended for a second. When you want to discipline he cries his lungs out and will not listen to what you have to say. I feel bad for my sister bcuz I see how her life is with a difficult child.

I recently just broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years. I am 4 months pregnant and he said that he is gonna fight for custody. People have told me that there is no way a court will give the baby to the dad unless something major happens.. or if drugs are involved. I was wondering what are the mothers rights to her baby? Do I have to give him joint custody? He will try to get that so he doesn't have to pay child support. I plan on talking to a lawyer pretty soon, so I can get a better idea of what I need to do.
Thanks for any help and support.

I take all the Emergency guide sections out of Parents Magazine and have them on a clip board next to my first aid kit. I am starting to collect a lot of guides and I want to be able to run to it and know just were to look when I need information. here are the headings for each page. Can you help me put them into categories that will be easier to locate when needed.

Sports Safety

Head Injuries

Emergency Room Prep

CPR for Children

Electric Shock

The Great Outdoors

Preparing for a Disaster

Strangulation and Suffocation

Eye Emergencies

Medicine Handbook for Moms

First Aid for Burns and Scalds

Cold Weather Safety

Holiday Safety

Maybe 2 or 3 different sections to file them under.
Thanks for you help!

So I went for my 18 week ultrasound on Wendesday, and we found out the sex of the baby. This whole pregnancy I just knew in my heart of hearts that we were having a boy. Without a doubt. WRONG! It's a girl! We're super excited either way, but I was totally wrong! LOL Have any other mothers had this happen? I sure hope my maternal instict gets better before SHE arrives!

What I seem to see over and over are people who say that its a womans choice, because if your sick or if your raped or maybe the baby is sick. Yes I do agree in some circumstances that arbortions are an option. But I don't think anyone should be able to go out have sex and have an abortion because they don't want the responsibilty. If we want to keep the abortion law in effect, a woman should have documented evidence that she was raped, is ill or the baby is ill. The physician that diagnosed the ill parent or baby or police for a rape victim should then have to contact the dr. giving the abortion and confirm the woman's story with a signature or in person. . Again under certain circumstances but other than that its just selfish. How can you say I don't have the money to raise this child so I am going to abort it. Well apparently you don't have brains either because its called condoms or not having sex at all. We learn that in about 5th grade.

I found out i was pregnant 2 weeks ago. i haven't had any increase in discharge at all yet. Well i been kind of curious today and yesterday, because me and my fiance had sex yesterday in the afternoon/evening. well afterwards i noticed some thick, kind of globby discharge that was really white. I know it wasn't his, and i am positive it was mine. Does anyone else get this discharge during and after sex while pregnant? plz serious answer! i am wondering if everything is okay or if it's something to be concerned about! thank you!

I recently heard that when you have your baby they can drug test you, and your baby to make sure no drugs have been used. Under what circumstances would you qualify to be tested?

Is it true that they always test minors/their baby's after they give birth, simply due to the fact that they're minors?

I am not pregnant, or doing drugs, I am just wondering; no rude comments please.

If a woman has no desire to be pregnant should she be a mother?

If you don't have the "warm and fuzzies" should you be a mom?

So far my hubby and I have been okay. We're able to pay everything on time, and have grocery, gas and weekend money..but this time of year is the WORST. There is always SOMETHING going on. Seriously, we have three baby showers, two bridal showers and weddings, a house warming party and three birthdays all in the next two months! (I married into the BIGGEST family on the planet.. my husband has 21 Aunts and Uncles :/ ) It's hard to find the extra money for so many events.. how do you guys stay afloat?

Why do people look at spankings as a form of abuse or violence?

Isint abuse and violence when you beat the hell out of your child, or the child is being "abused" in other ways such as sexualy, mentaly, or physicaly?

Since when did a pop on the butt fall into the category of abuse and violence?

I understand things will be tight and tough, but i am trying to decide if i should switch jobs, which doesn't offer a ladder to climb. Or stick with the job I have, where i could work my way up in 10 years. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

is it leagle to spank your kids?
what is the law on spanking? i know some parents are scard to spank their kids so they dont and end up with out of control kids......and im not talking about beating your kid scenceless, im talking the first time they try to step up to you and test your athority, and tell you NO!......im not talking about slapping a kid over a spilled cup of milk......im talking about perpously not listening to you..... my mom and dad spanked us, but after we were done crying they would come in and express love, and explain why is dangerous at 9 to get in a row boat with 5 other 7/8/9 year olds and drift down the curent the the island where there is no bridge to get back.....no adult no life jacket......they said if something happend they would not even know where to start looking for me i could be at the bottom of the river and they would have no idea,i under stood why they were mad,my cu had 7 kids never spanked them they got taken away for being too bad......

I have a neighbor across the street who calls on me at all hours to take care of her 4 year old. Both of my children are grown and I'm at home most days. She knows that and takes advantage of it.
I suppose if she conpensated me for my time and pay me something I wouldn't be quite so resentful. There's a lot of things myself that I'm not able to get done because I'm babysitting.
I love the little boy. He's special needs and is a very loving child but he can be a real handful too.
My question is how should I handle this. I think it would really hurt the friendship if I told her I wouldn't be able to watch her child unless she paid me for babysitting services. Thanks for any advice you could offer.

my baby started sleeping trhought the night when he was 6 weeks old now he seems to have problems staying asleep, he wakes up many times during the night (this has been going on for 3 weeks) the problem is that he learned how to roll over from back to front and front to back and i think that might be the reason, i think that unconsiouly he does it during his sleep, i just want to sleep for more than 2 hours on a row and obiously i want the same for my baby, please if you are going through the same thing tell me about it if you already pass this , please advce me on what i can do, thank you so much , i realy apreciate it, thank you, also, if you think it may be something else i'll take every advice, god bless!!
