what am i to do?

my period was due on either the 4th or 5th may and still not arrived yet, i took a hpt and there was a faint blue line in the results window, so i left it a few days and done another one it came back a def neg (it was a different test to the first one as they had run out of the 1st one i brought), so i went to my drs and they got me to do a urine test which aslo came back neg. i was told that my 1st test was a pos even if the line was faint but how can i have 2 neg tests after that?

I have had symptoms of being preg
headaches
backache
feeling of sick
smells that have never bothered me b4 do now
going to loo more
tierd more
my left nipple leaking
and my period late

i am 26 yrs old could there be any other reason as to why my period is late? i have never been late with my period, even when i first started i was lucky cos they were regular straight away.

anybody got any suggestions

i am not stressed either, things are great all round for me

I would ask the doctor to do a blood test to make sure. Urine type test can be a false negative or a false positive, so i would say if your period hasn't shown by the end of the month, call the Dr and request another test

Your period could be late if you have been under any stress lately.

I would suggest taking another test in a few days, if it is negative and you are still experiencing symptoms of pregnancy, try to schedule a blood test. Be sure to be taking good care of yourself, too, in case you are preggo.

ask your dr to do a blood test that would be more accurate at this time, your hormones might be more elevated and he will be able to tell
