I can't believe how my once treasured cats are now so neglected now that I am a mum. I used to pamper to their every need.
Now, they really irritate me by leaving cat hairs everywhere and paw marks....which I never used to notice.
We even gave our fish tank away to save the hassle on feeding and cleaning them - how lazy is that?

My girlfriend and I have a bet: She says that it can't be done, or it just isn't done. I told her that genetic tests are done all the time prenatally, a paternity test could be done and they have been done.

Who is right? I need citations, not just opinions (she is stubborn, so am I)

I am 24, my partner is 36. I see children in my future. I would be an excellent mother and love the joy that family brings. My partner is not a fan of children. When I talked about this recently asking if he sees any room for children in our future, he thought about it and said it was "a stupid question". Is he right or am I right in thinking this is a problem that cannot be resolved between us? I'd rather not risk having a child with him then him leaving me with the child. I'd rather get out and find someone else who wants to have children. Neither do I want him to lie and say he wants them, just to keep me. But he doesn't want to split up. Is this just too big a difference in opinion?

My daughter's name is Kaitlyn. My husband and I were in a discussion about the short versions of this name with this spelling.

Would it be Kaity, Katie, Katy...?

And would it be Kait or Kate?

I have had several people tell me that by looking at my belly or my complexion, that they can tell what gender my baby is. One said she learned the trick from her mother when she was young and I have heard about the carrying high or low thing. I've studied my pregnant belly and I think it just looks like every other pregnant belly. Please only answer if you know what complexion or any other outside things have to do with this.

When I was pregnant with my son I got two different bassinets. I did use one of them but the other I didn't use at all although it is out of the box, my mother had given it to me, it was one of the ones she bought when she was pregnant and then she miscarried and ended up putting it away. I know have one of the pack in plays that are also the bassinet and changing table and what not so I don't need the other two anymore. I would like to sell them I am not worried about a price for each I just want to get them out of my house because they are taking up a lot of space. If anyone could give me some idea's or suggestions on this I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks.
I have thought about maybe selling it on ebay or what not but I am not sure if that is the way to go. Nobody I know needs one so I am at a loss.

My boyfriend told me he heard a story on the radio about a baby born today or sometime recently at around 22 or so weeks, that measured 9 inches. He didn't hear any of the other details.

Did anyone hear about that, and can you tell me what the story really is?
