I just got on after a long weekend. I enjoy answering and asking questions but some people are always on here in the pregnancy and parenting section. Do you believe some people are obsessed with this site? Why do you think that is? There are a few users that have questions posted every time I log on. How can these people be the “great” parents they claim if they are always online and rack up thousands of points in just a weekend?? I have a lot of points but I’m just on here every once in a while.

What’s your opinion? Are you one of those people? I mean whatever floats your boat but I would just think that there would be better things for all of us parents to be doing.

a couple told me that their child missed kindergarten by a day. How can you miss it? Is this something I have to be careful about? So my children are not held back a grade?

Yes, its me again. This is helping me. My baby daddy left me and he has been calling me so I been being mature and answering the phone but last night we got in a stupid fight and he told me some really hateful things. Total disrespect. I been hoping he would come to his senses. He is living 2000 miles away with his daddy right now. We have a long history (7 years) since we was 17. Anyhow..he told me last night that we will NEVER be together again..when last week he was saying otherwise. I have to toughen up. Everyone is telling me to keep answering the phone but I think I will let my answering machine pick up and then txt him back the baby is fine if he asks about our baby. I am just at lost. They said that if I move on, he will come back. Men, Have you ever done this? Just looking for some nice advice! Thanks.

Ok, my husband and I decided on Charisma Anne but it really does not click for me. We've since decided on Charisma Renee but the only part of that name I really like is the middle name. So I need a bit of help ladies. Her sisters names are: Serenity Lynn, Autumn Rose, and Destiny Leigh, we would like a name that fits well with her sisters. The first name needs to be an english word (sometihng not every other little girl is named) and a more normal middle name (like Renee). What do you say, got any ideas?

We really like the name Lucas (Luke for short) but are concerned about the origin. We are Jewish, although not particularly religious, but we still want to make sure we are choosing an appropriate name. Does anyone have any thoughts that would be helpful?

We've ruled out Jacyn.
We would like to have the nickname of Jacie, without that being the official name.
I feel so strongly to have at least the first part of her name to sound like "Jay".
I miss him so much but feel he would be very happy to have our baby daughter as his namesake.

i have been with jim for 5 yrs and he has been divorced for 6yrs.jim has joint custody with his ex of his 8 yr old "jen".jen loves me and i love her too.the problem is her mom hates me and treats me like a criminal/outsider.for example one time there was a issue at daycare and jim wanted to put his ex on speaker phone so i could hear and she was like NO WAY. i am not to have any contact with her school, doctor, freinds ect.not only does jim allow this to go on but his does not see this as a real problem even thru he knows this bothers me alot.his mom told me(and she agrees with me)he just does not like to fight thats why he will not say anything to her,but we fight over this all the time.he would rather fight with me than her?he told me the reason is his child,he does not want to make it difficult for her.

Is it normal for babies to think they are going to fall, even when on the floor?(On they're changing mat). My son freaks when I take his clothes off. I can't take my hand away otherwise he throws his arms in the air, looks terrified and starts shreiking. He's about three months. Is this normal?

Whats the deal with people saying that large families are overpopulating?..

I am a mother of 6.. I homebirth my children- no burden on hopsitals, I homeschool them , no burden on govt education, and we support them ourselves..

Is it jealousy, or are these people selfish..
