I am a mother of 6.. I homebirth my children- no burden on hopsitals, I homeschool them , no burden on govt education, and we support them ourselves..

Is it jealousy, or are these people selfish..

There was a B.S. book that came out in the 70s called "Future Shock" which made dire predictions about overpopulation (we were all supposed to be dead by now). Many were brainwashed by that. Also, a B.S. movement in the early part of the 20th century, called eugenics, supposed that only poor and stupid people had more than two children. Much of the undertone of our media and education systems has embraced these B.S. ideas. Look at a map. People starve to death in sparsly populated areas, not in supposed overpopulated ares.

I'm the father of four. And would had more. But, whether we like it or not, overpopulation is the biggest worlds problem. Humanity, the worlds population, is growing at exponential rates. That causes all kinds of disturbs to ecological equilibrium. Its the main reason for wolds warming too. So, if we don't start taking control on mankind growth, will see the end of the world pretty soon. Perhaps, on behalf of future generations, we should limit ourselves not to have more than two child per family. If you are a catholic, as I am, use methods allowed by the Church. God will decide.

mutually as i think of all of those issues are factors, I blame the proprietors. Its the owner who does not do analyze and buys the difficulty doggies that help the BYBs. Its the owner who does not neuter the puppy, and enables it to reproduce undesirable doggies. Its the owner who abandons the dogs through fact its habit turns into inconvenient, quite of determining the thank you to coach the dogs extraordinary. Its the owner who refuses to the two spend the money for scientific care, or placed the dogs down. Its the owner who does not attempt to place the dogs in a clean domicile, quite than dumping it interior the shelter. To be honest, some proprietors have not got a call approximately giving up their dogs. yet maximum do. I surely dont blame the shelters. lots of the dogs we've in our shelter contain strays - dogs the owner allowed to get misplaced, and did no longer make any attempt to reclaim. without shelters, there would purely be so plenty greater ravenous dogs wandering the streets, like there are in third international international locations. (over the years, residing out interior the country, I even have ended up with extremely some former strays, myself - dogs that have been dumped out in an open container via their proprietors. The shelter grow to be on no account a factor in that.)

It's just plain ignorance. I speak personally, because when I was in college I vowed to never have children citing over population, the condition of other countries and all the children in need of being adopted as reasons why people shouldn't keep having kids. However, after having 4 children of my own, ages (6yrs to 10 months) and a conversion from Satan and his feel good ideology to the real truth of Christ, I realized that every life is a gift and God chooses us for a reason to create a specific dynamic.
I know what you mean about comments. When I take my "herd" as I call them to the grocery store, it never fails that at least 2 people feel the need to tell me I have my hands full or that I have ALOT of children...because I wouldn't know it if they didn't say something!LOL

So I suppose that these kids won't take up more land or use more resources than just one or two children? Or produce more kids of their own eventually than if you only had one or two children?

The planet is a limited resource that they do and will continue to use. The more people using a limited supply of anything, the less there is all around, and the quicker it gets used up.

If they are relying on you to home school them and you don't know this simple fact, then I wonder what other major holes they are going to have in their education.

Additional: In case you still don't get it, you also have to consider the waste by-products expended by the increasing number of people (pollution). And people aren't the only lifeform on this planet. It doesn't matter if there is a lot of unsettled by man land still left, there is other life that exists in these areas that is needed for the survival of Man.

While I certainly can see your point of view. I also see the other side. Your children will grow up to use natural resources that we are currently trying to save. They will each have children and that will add to the population. I think that you are doing the right thing in trying to provide a decent life for your children but ultimately they will grow up and will possibly not do things your way.

It is not always about the burden on the school system or government. You use water to wash things, you breath air, etc. I have three children myself. I think people are concerned about how we are treating our planet not just our government.

Selfish...everyone wants a 10000 sq. ft. home, a hefty paycheck, and all the qualities of life that a king should expect and how can they expect to get it if they have to contend with 6 MORE PEOPLE!!!! It's silly really....learning to share doesn't seem to be taught anymore.
