My friend is pregnant from a 1 night stand and she doesnt want the baby - she is really quite poor and wants the best for her and her baby. Can she sell him/her to a good home? Is it illegal?

I ran into an article that said that 70% of women who knew they were going to have a certain gender (not just want a boy or girl) had the gender they knew they were having. I was wondering how many of you knew the gender of your child before finding out. I was just wondering because I want a girl desperately, but I know it's going to be a boy. I have a 13 month old son, and my partner also has a 6 yr old son who stays with us 50% of the time and a 10 yr daughter who we see fornightly (both from his x-wife).

I'm really wanting to have a daughter (though obviously that can't be guarenteed) (and of course if I have a boy I'd love just as much).

The pregnancy I had with my boy was filled with nausea, and I had a lot of trouble breast feeding him, dispite help from midwves etc.

Up until recently I've been in the mind set that I didn't want to have another child, as I had a full load looking after the one I had and working. But recently the idea of getting pregnant and having a baby has been a tempting one.

My partner would love to have another one, and so would I, as I'm worried it would be too much to handle, and stress. Also I work in an animal center, and being pregnant would severly impact on my work.

Does anyone have any suggestions, opinions, pros, cons in relation to this?

The people I rent from gave their 10 mo old 1.6mg of infant ty. I know that's too much. What should I do? 1.6mg is the amt to give a 2-3 yr old.

this is my third baby. I have 2 wonderful baby boy's now. very healthy!! I really want a girl!! you know cause I already have 2 boys... I'm 12 weeks along and slightly scared. how hard is it 2 raise more than 2 kids? what should I name my baby when it is born? the other 2 are named:

Oh please help, I know I have already asked, but no one would answer...so once more...

I had unproctected sex almost 7 months ago, two days after my period
I was on birth control and he didnt 'come' while we were together (we only had sex for like 20 seconds).
I've had my period every month since then, on time and once I bled inbetween my period so heavily, i had to use a pad...
and I dont recall having sympotms that were out of the ordinary (i.e. missed period, tender breast..ect.)
I took a pregnanct test at 3:30 in the afternoon 4 months ago that came out negative.

And about that same time (3 months along), I had a PAP Smear.
Since Dec, I have lost 11 lbs. (which if you're preg. you gain weight, not lose it...right???)

I've been drinking, also...and I got beat up a few times, hit a lot in the tummy. =[

So with all that being said, my question is: Do you think I could still be pregnant?

My 5 1/2 mo. old doesn't like to be held. She's been like that since birth. The only time she likes (or tolerates) being held is when she's ill. She depends on her pacifier to soothe her and really doesn't care if she's held or not.

This kind of bothers me. I know it's probably just her personality and I like the fact that she seems to be "independent," but I thought most babies prefer to be held.

What do you think? Was your baby like this?

I am trying to determine if this would be beneficial for me, i have looked thru some of the resolved questions but they seem a bit one sided and im not excatly sure the procedure. the questions i have are basically about

storage (for at home and for outings) , frequency of washing (like how many in a load), necessity of diaper covers?, and if its possible with a busy schedule...

i dont know anyone personally who uses them, i heard its lighter on th wallet than pampers but im trying to figure out if its really practical for my life....

i ALREADY know the benefits, i need to know from experience what REALLY goes on...

Ok..here's the thing... My 5 1/2 mo. old little sweetie is very dependent on her pacifier. She needs it to go to sleep and wakes up for it several times throughout the night. I think she "needs" it right now (because of teething and all), but waking up 20 times a night to stick it back in her mouth is getting old fast. I'm considering taking it away, but as soon as I pull it out of her mouth, her fingers go right in. I certainly don't want her to be a finger-sucker, so what should I do?
