You should read the label aloud in front of them, just to grab their attention. Hopefully this one time it won't hurt the baby (I believe it is not quite strong, but I don't know). If the baby looks woozy, I would call an ambulance, too damn bad for them. They're stupid. It's nice of you to look out for their baby. good luck

Well I just looked up in my drug book and it says that infants can get 10-15 mg/kg/dose every 4-6 hours as needed, but not to exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. So, if indeed they gave 1.6 MG...they are within the dosage limits.

Hmmm... call the pharmacy (CVS, walgreens) and ask them what symptoms of overdose to look out for and what that amt can do to a baby.
Then just keep an eye out and hope the parents do, too.

24-35 lbs 2-3 years 1.6 mL = 0.8 mL + 0.8 mL
Did they go by the baby's weight? Maybe their baby weighes 24 pounds and most doctors and pharmacists will tell you it is better to go by the child's weight than the age.
What can you do? I guess call 911.

My answer is the same as it was about 20 minutes ago when you asked this question. And I added a flag this time for "repeated postings."
