Call your doctor. My sister had the same thing. You need medical help with this one. There could be a variety of causes, but one potential is infection from the caesarian section. Please, please call your doctor.

I went through the same thing. Nothing you can do about it. Drink water and it should go away after about 4 to 6 weeks. It comes from being pregnant and retaining water and the IV they use before and after the labour is also a contributing factor.

It is a bit painful and numbing, but just think of what you get for it, a wonderful baby!!! God bless you and your new born. Welcome to the world little one.

Maybe your blood pressure is gone up. I'd call my doctor to ask, it may be something more.
Drink plenty of water. I hear that helps keep swelling down while pregnant, so that may help you. And elevate your feet and see if the swelling goes down.
Good luck and congrats on the baby!

I got the same symptoms after my first one. She was by c-section after 28 hours of labor. I went to the OB and he told me I was having pre-eclamptic symptoms after the fact, which he said were somewhat normal. It went away after about a week. Congrats on the new baby!

I had the same thing happen after my vaginal birth. Keep drinking TONS and TONS of water and it will go down in a few days. Your body is trying to rid itself of the extra fluid.
