Honey.. it makes you feel 'really' responsible. It's a great feeling that you created another life.

what makes one to feel affectionate about her baby is the feeling ... "she was nothing but me earlier. He started in me, grew with me like any other limb for nine months and got separated. Unlike my other limbs, this limb has life and it was given by". Oh!!! what a feeling. That's enough to light up your life.

You have to ensure that your baby understands it throughout the her life so that the affection remains bidirectional.

I quit smoking pot. I now want to finish my degree even more than I did before. I can;t explain the other way it changed me. I guess I'm more motherly. Before when I saw something on the news abotu a child being harmed, I thought it was sad and nothing more. Now when I see the same things, I become very emotional. I never thought I would cry for someone else's child. I never thought I would cry looking at pictures of a toddler when she was a baby and bawl my eyes out because time had went by tooquick. I had my daughters young, I had my first at 18 and my second at 19, but I can honestly say they have changed me. They changed me for the better.

I became LESS SELFISH because everything in your life revolves around your child, from sleeping to eating to every aspect of your waking life! Before, if you were hungry and wanted to grab a bite to eat, you'd hop in your car and go somewhere. Now, I have to make sure my child's needs are met first. If she is hungry, feed her first and if she's sleepy, I have to put her in the car seat before she falls asleep. If she's tired and cranky, then forget about your plans for lunch! I am a mother of 2: a 3 1/2-year-old girl and a 6-month-old boy, so you might say I have a bit of experience!

You grow up quick. You become "mom" yes the typical mom. Soon you develop the "mom" arm when you have to quick hit the brakes in the car and you throw your arm over your husband. LOL.
You learn to love more. Like you never knew you were capeable of loving SO MUCH. And for me and my husband our children have brought us closer than ever.
