Banana Toast??? And you really married the guy? Has he stopped taking his meds recently?
What would I do? Never have a child with him, or name the baby something WAY different.
That poor child would be ridiculed more than normal by the other kids in school.

umm you should really sit down and talk with him about this then when you two are around some friends ask them for some names and tell them what you husband has suggested that way he can see what others would think of the name you could go for a more traditional name depending on the gender of the child heres a site to help you out

I suppose it's better than what my husband wanted to name our first child (if it was a girl): HatchetHead.
Maybe you could use the Dutch version: Banaan Toost? That way, it doesn't sound so breakfast-y.

My boyfriend has said that if we have children he wants the names Opportunity or School of Hard (his surname is Knox)
I do not take him seriously :-)
Just tell him that you are the one who has to go through labour so YOU get to pick the name! If he wants to take that responsibility off your hands and go through childbirth instead of you, then HE can name the baby!

I would tell him where to go.LOL I'm sure he was joking if not he has problems. My fiance told me a bunch of different names he wanted to call our baby and they were things he knows I would never name my child. Guys are goofy they like to joke about everything.

I reckon you should not allowed him to call your first child that does your child really want people at school when youer child gets to that age calling him banana toast thats soo lame.... its totally wrong!! lol

Yeah about that...tell him when he squeezes the baby out he can name it BabyButtKiss for all you care, but untill then no BananaToast. Unless you like it of course then go for it! Good luck with your new lil one!
