I have a brother who is younger, nearly 7 years. Since I was in the 5th grade I took care of him. I helped him with his homework, made sure he had supper the works. My parents worked alot and we didnt see them much. My brother started calling me mom, and when my mom found out she treated me differently. When she left my dad, she only wanted me to come cause my brother wouldnt go without me. My whole life my mom mistreated me and I never felt like she was my mom. I got married at 21 told him I was unhappy at 22 (october), left him before new years. My mom started treating me more and more like ****. I had the flu and was sleeping. My brother came in and woke me up and said that mom was saying stuff. I went down there to clear it but she got mad and said I was a whore so I said at least I didnt leave my ex for another man. She ran after me pulled down my pants with a knife in her hands. I took my stuff and went to my dads....

My husbands son is 13 yrs old, and lives with his mom during the week. He comes to stay with us over the weekend and we have always had alot of fun. He's a good lad, well behaved.. etc..

The only criticism I would have is that his mother really coddles him. He's very much a mommies-boy. Even at 13 yrs old he 'pouts' and expects to be cuddled and kissed if he bangs his finger or anything minor like that. His mother still treats him very much like a little child - even in the way she talks to him.

I have been a part of his life for about 7 years now since his dad and I got together. We are expecting a child now and he is displaying some jealous-type behaviour. He says things that bother me. And it's got me worried. For example. I was explaining the role of Folic Acid during pregnancy, so that the baby doesn't develope neural disorders - he was laughing and asking if it would come out looking retarded if I didn't take it. He makes comments about the baby like this every so often.

is there any way you can choose the sex of a child, is there certain things to eat or do. i have a son and want a daughter but the love would be unconditional either way. i only wanted 2 children as i don't think i could afford more than that and think it's wrong to have more than you can honestly afford but always wanted a daughter

don't get me wrong a son would be great too

I should first mention that my husband and I are expecting our first child and trying to repair the damage (we're both guilty of!) in our marriage. But, my mother in-law keeps wanting to interfere! My husband is an only child (which makes life so much fun!). She wants to know everything on our finances, our budget, you name it! Also, everytime she has a chance to speak with me, she keeps telling me how the baby will most likely look like my husband and her. How can you tell what the baby will look like from the ultra-sound?? Its like she trying to discredit my DNA compleatly!
Also, my mom is throwing me a baby shower. Its been planned since October, now my mother in-law (who said she wanted NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SHOWER) is all upset and pissy because she is not the one hosting it! She is even telling all of her friends and family members my husband and my personal issues!
My shower is next week, and I'm really not looking forward to dealing with her! HELP

My husband and I are having the hardest time deciding on a baby name. The lastest name (for a girl) we like is "Dhallie", or "Dallie". We were thinking of making it short for Dhalia, but I think it's cute all by itself. So, what do you think? Do you like it, or is it just too different? Thanks for the help... I've been thinking about names for so long that I don't know if I like anything anymore!

Suggestions about titles needed, think about words or phrases that would inspire you to purchase the book, keeping in mind that this is a book for parents to find comfort in, show them that they are not alone, give guidance and info. But also light-hearted with a hint of humour. "What about Chasing Diaper Angels?" "Little Footprints? No Worries" please as many ideas as you can think of

Or would the health part be better in a seperate volume like a sequel?

i had this creamy white colored discharge like a week and a half after my period, do you think i was ovulating? And then about 2 weeks later i had like a clear clumy slimy thing hang out when i was peeing and since then i have been having this milky lotiony colored discharge. Do you think i could be pregnant cause i had sex during the time i first had the discharge about a week and a half after my period. I have been feeling nauseous and have been feeling hungry but everything i eat never seems to fill me up. i should be getting my period in around 3 days but i have no cramping or anything. What do you think? I took a pregnancy test about 2 days ago and it read negative but it was at the end of the day and it might of been to early to tell. So please tell me what you think.

We are going to paint 3 of the walls sea foam green. On the last wall, we are going to paint a mural of underwater with coral reef, sand, fish and a few other things. This will be a room for an infant. He is due in about 13 weeks, so we need to get started now. We just need a few more ideas to get things started! Thanks in advance for your help.

I posted this in another category and got negative results. I need advice and creative ideas. Not criticism. Thanks!
