seriously? you're interested in having sex?! after both of my c-sections, i wasn't interested for at least the whole 6 weeks. if your doctor said it was ok, and you're ready, do it.

Just try it. It might hurt at first but you have try a little more to know for sure if it will be painful the whole time.
My baby is 3 months old and I personally had to wait til 5 weeks, just because I was still bleeding and it was way too painful when my husband entered me. At 5 weeks, it was painful when he entered but after a minute or so the pain wasn't so bad and I enjoyed it.
Just keep trying every few days until your body is ready
Good luck.

I had a c section 5 weeks ago. When I was at 2 weeks postpartum I was done bleeding and thats when I started up with sex again. I had no problems with it at all. It depends on your body and how you feel about it. Things are fine with me. ~Kristin~

You need to wait for 6 weeks. I doubt you're almost done bleeding.
When your staples were removed and the doctor said you were "fine," I would imagine the doctor was referring to your incision healing nicely.
It's standard practice to have another check up at 6 weeks. Your doctor will give you a COMPLETE exam - pelvic, breasts, etc.- and let you know if you're okay to resume sex. Wait for the six weeks check up.
At my six week check up my doctor wanted to see my baby and me, so find out if your doc wants to see both mom and baby at your 6 weeks exam.

Your doctor said you were doing fine; he didn't say you could have sex. Your husband will just have to wait. He'll live!
