I guess I forgot to say that I am recently married, 5'5", 127 lbs., and I work out 3 times a week. My husband is 6'6" , 155 lbs (no fat at all and healthy as a dam horse. I have 6 sisters and 5 brothers and all are living in good health. My grandparents lived to be in their 90's and my parents are still living in great physical shape. Our family is so huge at thanksgiving we rent a hall for our dinner. So my husband, my 3 year old and myself have a lot of love and support from the family and it looks like we live long lives judging by our parents and grandparents. We are in great financial shape and willing to take the risk. If anything ever happened to either of us, our 3 year old and my new baby will not be alone. All of the family has made out wills in case of a bad situation. I went to the doctor and he gave us the ok. I have all the right stuff still working to get this party started. Just wanted to see what everyone thought of the idea. Thanks for your opinions.

Over the past couple of months I have experienced some pretty weird things. I am on the Birth Control, but a while back I ended up bleeding. Not a whole lot but enough. And I also experienced some cramping. I have just have noticed that I have been experiencing symptoms of pregnancy. I am just really confused right now. I just wanted some peoples oppinion. I'm due with my 2nd child in July and I'm wondering what are people's take on this issue. I see no problem in having a small gathering (no big party with the usual big gifts that usually come with the first one), but just a nice one to celebrate the birth of a new life. A lot of people around me say that I should expect nothing since I've already have had a child. What do you think?

My partner wants to call our new born daughter Ogabar after my best friend (who saved my partner's life in 1979) but I think this is a very old fashioned name and want to call her Borisa after the famous Hollywood star Boris Karloff whose films I really like (I considered Willamena because Boris Karloff was born William Henry Pratt but I decided I did not like Willamena very much).
So should I give in and name the child Ogabar or cal her Borisa instead?

about 4 weeks ago I had unprotected sex. I got my period a week and 4 days ago. But I know many people who have gotten pregnant and still had a period my sis included. I was having pains in my breasts but that has calmed down a bit. I was constipated and have been having bad headaches and nausea for about 3 weeks now. I started retaining water around my midsection and you can really tell because I have a tiny waist and stomach. I had the sniffles for a while but now I'm just full blown sick. It started last night. I had a fever and sore throat. THe fever and sore throat is gone. I know these arent signs of pregnancy though. I also feel a sort of....not really a pain...but a tingly feeling right above my belly button. Does anyone think I may be pregnant? 4 days before I had my period I took a test and it was negative. should I take another one?

My mother and I have a very strained relationship to write the least. We hardly speak. Actually, relationships on both sides of the family are extremely strained. My mom has been waiting for grandchildren forever and I'm the only one who'll do it. But I don't want to tell my mom about it if and when I get pregnant. I don't want her in my life at all, and she apparently feels the same about me. I know she'd only be interested in me because of her grandbaby. What should I do? Is it terrible to not tell her about it?
