It depends on who's coming!
Party games don't really suit a one-year-old child but if she has older siblings or cousins, they'll need entertaining. It's difficult to find something to appeal to everybody, especially if the children are all of different ages, but most children below the age of about six years love pass the parcel and other retro party games.
As for themes, what does your daughter like to watch? If she has any favourite characters or particular favourite colours, they're good to pick out. Failing that, Disney has a lot of Disney princesses merchandising - that looks cute for young girls.

Duckies, Suzy Zoo....but its not necessary because she doesn't know what they are yet!! Ugh..themes and games i dont know about that i would just buy her some toys or something to play with cuz she can't really celebrate her birthday party like a 3 or 4 yo can or even a 2 yo.
Like helping her unwrap her gifts, or blow out the candle on the cupcake. . .

I wouldn't really worry about games. I would focus on her favorite character... Dora, Elmo, Wiggles.... you can find alot of character items at a party store. I do suggest getting your daughter her own cake to dig into. It could be just a cupcake if you wanted. There is nothing more fun than watching a 1 yr old make a mess with their first cake or (like 2 of my kids) scared to touch it... I hope ya'll have a great time and Happy First Bday sweetie!!

Look at the store first and is what themes are out there. My husband and I kept picking themes first and kept running into the fact that the theme wasn't out there. Look around and get ideas.

For a first birthday, she is not going to want to play games. Just have a family gathering and eat cake and ice cream.
Be sure to give her a big piece of cake and take pictures of the result --- good blackmail material for when she is older LOL

pick her favorite character. when my daughter turned one, her favorite tv show at the time was the doodlebops. if your daughter dosent really have a favorite tv show or favorite character, since her b-day is in feburary, you could do a valentines day theme! that would be fun! hearts everywhere!
