It seems to me that Americans hate free time on a sub-conscience level! It seems that Americans make life decisions one after the other that take away their free time. Whether it be more procreation (more long hours at work), bigger house (more long hours at work), buying crap you don't need (more long hours at work), etc etc etc. What ever happen to just taking enough responsibility to sustain your life in a non-agrarian society and not an ounce more AND JUST LIVE!!!!!!

Ladies...Would you fly to a hot climate for two weeks if you were 7 months gone?
The packing, the travelling to the airport, the security checks, waiting around, delayed flights and travelling at the other end in heat we havent had since last year, then sit on a beach in 80 degrees for two weeks while 7 mths gone, then travel back again.
Guys, would you be able to handle the stress from your side of all that
And knowing you could give birth abroad???
Am I the only one agaisnt it????
Now Im not talking about the health issues here, but the practicalities of it all and the possible stress................

My husband and I have been married for 8 years. He has 2 boys from a previous marriage and I have one boy also from a previous marriage. I am 5 weeks pregnant with our first baby and I would really like it to be a girl. What are the odds? I know you cant tell me for sure, but would like your opinion. We are so excited!!!!! By the way if its a boy we're fine with that.

What are some things that have changed in the way you think from when you were younger, since you now have kids, a house, a career or are just older.
I for one changed in the way I think about soooo many things. For example, when I was younger I used to see a small child misbehaving and would judge the parent, thinking oh she doesn't know how to raise her child, but now after having kids I realize that that is not necessarily true.
I used to also think that being rich would make me happy but I see many rich people (not all) and the husband is never home because of work and because of that the wife is depressed and the kids don't really know their father.
I also have learned to be grateful for the things I have, even if it's just to be healthy and alive.
I used to also think, Oh yea women should have the right to choose, but after I had children I couldn't murder a baby, no way.

I think I may have had a chemical pregnancy now 24 days later I still have not gotten my period?
I have been using the Clear Blue Easy Fertility monitor, and it said that I was ovulating around day 20 and now I am back at low fertility. How soon after a chemical pregnancy can you get pregnant? Do you have to wait a few cycles like you do after you have a miscarriage?

Has anyone else had vivid dreams while pregnant? If so, please share.

Last night I dreamt I took a HPT that was positive and woke up rubbing my belly..lol. Last month I dreamt of holding a baby that was my own (I have no children). Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 5 weeks.

Hi, this is my second pregnancy I didnt get to find out my daughter was a girl till 19 weeks. I had a 3D ultrasound done 2 days ago, and the lady used the 2d to look at its sex parts and said it was a girl.. And that she was pretty sure it was a girl. She pointed out the parts even though it was really hard to tell being that 2D makes baby small looking compaired to 3D. And it looked like two lines insted of 3 like what my daughter said. The ultrasound tech said there was no pee wee or anything hanging from baby when they got a shot of it sitting on a table like shot.. (thats how they like to find out sex) She wouldnt let me get a glimps on it at 3D of its parts.. BUt I think its a boy still its just that motherly feeling. I knew my daughter was a girl before I got a U/s..

due to medical reason's. I've been really clucky and would love another baby but I know the medication I'm on can cause major birth defects or during labour, my death. Do you think getting a small dog would fix my wanting another baby. My only daughter is just about to start school.
And my question isn't a joke.

I totally appreciate when people are friendly with my children, but its like when my kids throw fits, I want them to know that what they are doing is wrong and the will receive a punishment for it, but everytime we are at wal-mart and one of my kids throw a tantrum, there is always some lady with a wal-mart vest on, and a handful of stickers saying ohhhhhhh whats wrong sweetie? do you want a sticker? I do not reward my kids for being brats, why cant people respect that, especially why cant wal-mart employees respect that?

why do some parents allow this? isnt it unsafe because shes still growing? also its just telling them that if they dont like themselves physically, they can just throw away money to "fix" themselves at a very early age. what do you guys think about parents buying their daughters breast implants right out of high school?

I have seen quite a few questions abotu stay at home moms tonight when something had caught my attention. What is the point to staying home if your children are in school all day? If the whole reason of staying home is to care for your children, why wouldn't a woman go to work at least part time once their child is in school full time?

I do not mooch off of my husband F.Y.I it is both of our money. I chose to stay home and i see that i am not bothering anyone in no way of how our family lives. Why do people look down on us SAHM'S....?

Is it that people are mad because we have a MAN that will work and provide for their family? Or is it they think it is okay to stick their kid in daycare all day so they do not have to deal with their own kids?
