due to medical reason's. I've been really clucky and would love another baby but I know the medication I'm on can cause major birth defects or during labour, my death. Do you think getting a small dog would fix my wanting another baby. My only daughter is just about to start school.
And my question isn't a joke.

definetly get a dog, they are just as much work as a baby and your daughter will love it just as much as you will without ever feeling second class

this feeling MIGHT (no offense) be due to the fact that your daughter is about to start school and you are just simply not used to spending time alone all day. I think a dog would be perfect, but if you still want another baby after a year or so I would look into adoption

Getting a pet may help... However if you really want a child, then adopt one =]

There are thousands of orphaned kids, if not millions.

Giving a home to an orphaned baby or kid, could bring you happiness knowing they now can too have a life.

A puppy would certainly give you a way to spend your time and might work. I also have to jump on the wagon and say you could consider adopting. So many children need mothers who actually want them.

Why not consider adoption or fostering to adopt? Dogs are nice, but its just not the same. I have a dog and cat and it doesn't dampen my desire for another child, even though I love my pets.

I just got a little dog and it feels like a baby. so, yeah, it might help.

What about adoption? or a surgate mother?

I have an adopted daughter who is now a young adult. She is the love of my life.

Why not go and volunteer in a child care centre or a disabled kids school. You may find the love you offer to other kids very rewarding.

A dog will help but not much. Have you looked into adopting a chineese girl?
