Your wife's heartbeat should be somewhere between 60 and 120, depending on what she's doing! The average for a person who is just sitting there is 80. If she's sleeping, maybe lower; if she's exercising, it can go way up.
The fetal heart rate is generally between 120 and 160. Sometimes it may shoot up to as high as 180 for several seconds when it moves. Just like adults, the baby's heart beats faster when it exercises!

After the second trimester a woman's heart beat raises, completely normal, baby's heart be should be lower that it was at the beginning of the pregnancy the bigger the baby gets the slower the heartbeat becomes. I cannot give you numbers on your wife's rates because a lot of things such as her weight have something to do with it but I can tell you my heart rate used to be in the 70's during my first 2 trimesters and now in the third trimester it has been up in the 90's. My baby's heart beat at 13 weeks was 160 and now at 34 weeks it changes between 140-145.

an avg. heart rate for a normal adult is between 60-100 - so probably in the middle of that. The babies - i'm not sure. Usually i've already heard they're above 100 (but not sure how old of a baby inside the mother that is.). Best bet is to talk with the doctor about it- otherwise unless there's more problems or symtoms with the mother or lack of a heart rate with the baby- calm down and get some rest while you can before you're baby comes and you don't get much anymore for awhile. Enjoy! Take care

Im not sure what my heart rate was when i was 28 weeks but i know that my baby's heart rate was 150 beats per minute which more than pleased my midwife. I know that our heartrate when pregnant is a little more than a normal womans because of the volume of extra blood we are having to pump around. Hope this helps!!!! good luck

Her heart rate shouldn't be that much different than it was before she got pregnant. It might be a little faster but if there is a significant difference I would get her to go to the Dr. A normal heartrate prepregnancy is around 70 beats per minute, with it rising to 80 or 90 beats per minute while pregnant. Anything over 110 per minute I would definitely get checked out. A fetus' normal heartrate is 120-160 beats per minute.

I won't be worry about the heart beat as long as there is a heart beat. I would be more worried about high blood pressure and swellings
