1. Missing the monthly period.
This is a classic pregnancy symptom; especially if a woman's monthly cycle is as precise as the Big Ben. If a woman misses a period, it is probably time to take a home pregnancy test. However, if the woman's menstruation is not very regular, she should wait for a couple of days before taking a pregnancy test.
2. Soreness of breasts.
During pregnancy, breasts tend to be very sensitive. This is accompanied also by the darkening of the areolas or the concentric circle surrounding the nipples. A woman may also feel that her bra doesn't fit her as comfortably as before. This is natural because the breasts tend to increase in size when pregnancy sets in. For some, breast sensitivity is a very uncomfortable ordeal to live with during pregnancy. Fortunately, this wears off come the second trimester. For others, breast sensitivity can be a plus since this translates to heightened pleasure during intimate moments.
3. Morning Sickness.
Pregnant women usually deal with unsettled stomachs each morning during the first weeks of pregnancy. They may also sustain vomiting and feel weakness of the body. Contrary to popular belief, and to the suggestion the name implies, "morning" sickness does not only occur in the morning. Some women come down with nausea in the afternoon or in the evening. Other expectant mothers feel sick the whole day. This is maybe a side-effect due to the increase in the estrogen levels in a woman's body due to the pregnancy.
4. Unusual eating habits.
Women who are in the early stages of pregnancy sometimes crave for food they have never before or rarely eaten. It is also natural for them to be greedy. Some women may at times crave for unusual food, at the same time some women may hate the kind of food which used to be one of their favorites.
5. Spotting and discharge.
In the early stages of pregnancy, mucus begins to accumulate around the opening of the cervix to form the mucus plug, a barrier which serves as protection for the developing baby. Around the time of the implantation, or the time when the embryo has implanted itself on the uterine lining, pregnant women may notice a bit of spotting. Spotting due to pregnancy is light in volume and pinkish in color, as opposed to the deep red color associated with regular menstruation. It is important to emphasize though that discharge during pregnancy should not be accompanied by other distinctive signs of infection such as itchiness, burning sensation and foul odor.
Aside from these symptoms, a pregnant woman may also experience several other complaints such as fatigue, constipation, increase in basal body temperature even after her period is due, frequent urge to urinate and heartburn. Other unusual symptoms that an expectant mother may experience include enhanced sense of smell, weepiness and complexion problems also known as "breaking out". If a woman is experiencing one or more of these symptoms but still is unsure, a convenient home pregnancy test will easily confirm if she can expect a baby in the near future.

Depo can give you some of those symptoms but if you think you could be take a test or go have a blood test done. Ask your doctor. But, when I was on depo I experienced several problems. I thought i was pregnant to because I had some of the same symptoms including weight gain. As I said the best thing would be to go to your doctor and tell them the symptoms. Also, depo caused me to not bleed for the three months and then when I was off of it I bled three months straight. Either way you need to talk to your doctor about the symptoms you are having.

I just went through the same thing. I was on birth control and then my doc switched me to a different kind. Well I took the new kind for about 3 weeks and then started to feel like crap.... nauea, tiredness, clear discharge, back ache ect. I never got this way on my old bc pill even when it was time for my period.
I was confused so the day before I was to start my period (my period is like clock work) I took a home pregnancy test. It came back negative. The next day I started my period. This is one of the worst periods I have ever had pain wise. With my old bc pills I hardly had any cramping at all and with the new ones i had cramps a week before I started!!
You could be pregnant but it's more likely that your bc pills are making you feel this way.
I'm switching back to my old ones and will never take those other ones again!

If your pregnant, you probably won't bleed. A period is the body ridding itself of unused eggs, it flushes out the uterus and all the blood and nutrients that would have been used to nourish the fetus. If you just started the birth control in the past few months, it's normal to have some spotting and cramping. The easy answer is go to a drug store and buy a pregnance test. You can get them for $10-$20 usually, and it will tell you for sure. If your still concerned, or if the cramps get worse, or if you get any other unusual symptoms, you should talk to your doctor just to be on the safe side. Hope that helps. :)

My pregnancy was also unexpected and I was terrified at first! Im 24 and my bf is 26, we both have good jobs where we make good money so its not like we aren't financially ready. Shortly after we found out we started looking for a house to buy and we moved into our new home in August. I say follow your heart, and have the baby. As for what is going to happen down the road... who knows? But everything has a way of working itself out some way or another. Now, at 27 weeks Im no longer terrified although I still have the same worries as any first time Mom to be. Im very excited and can't wait to meet my little girl. Best of luck to you, and don't worry, everything will be fine!:)

OH man, get OFF of depo first thing. I was on it for four years and it was hell. Its getting horrid reviews http://www.rateitall.com/t-330-birth-control-methods.aspx and you have to have a bone density check every five years because it screws up your bone health.
You also will not really experience any periods during the depo shot, but you will deal with spotting at odd times during the depo shot.
If you think you are pregnant get a pregnancy test!

It's unlikely since you are on birth control but NOT immpossibe. I would try a home pregnancy test first. That way if it comes back positive you can stop taking your BC ASAP. Then when Doctor's offices open up after the new year call and make an appointment.

If you've had unprotected sex, then of course, pregnancy is always an option. You were very unclear as to what types of symtoms you've been experiencing but I can tell you that many symptoms of pregnancy don't always indicate pregnancy. You sound young so its also very possible that your period is just running its course and your hormones are doing funny things. If you are concerned though, you should go see your doctor for a test. Just remember that the doctor is strictly confidential so he/she won't tell anyone if you don't.

Honey, get a test. That is all you can really do. Go to the doctor or planned parenthood and take a blood test. That is really the only way to know for sure. Even birth control pills aren't 100%.

I would see a doctor ASAP. You don't want to stay on that pill if you are pregnant. It could cause some damage. The pill is not a 100% sure fire method of birth control, so it is possible.
