Would I exist? or would a brother or sister exsist instead of me. Out of all those 300 million sperm cells, was it just the right "one" that made me "me"?

I'm trying to use this thought for a discourse, to highlight how special life is. Thats why I'm asking.

It took both the right egg and the right sperm to create you.
God controlled the details.

Yup, just one that made you. You are an original. Because your father's sperm determines your sex, you could have been a boy. You would still have the same DNA from your mom though. Just think of it this way, you were stronger than all of those other little swimmers.
I think about this sometimes too, I got to that egg first. I wouldn't be here if I didn't. Weird.

Yes, you could of turned out to be a female! Taller, or shorter too. If a different sperm hit the egg 1st. Possible twin as well.

You would be you but just maybe a different you. You could be a different sex or have many different traits than you do now. Life is very precious and very unique. That is why there is no one out there exactly like you! Even twins have differences!

What an awesome question. I'd never ever thought about this until reading what you wrote. It really does make you stop and think about how special life is.
Thanks for making this old brain kick into gear!

Each of us is different & we are in the here & now.
While it is interesting to think what if, its best not to get all worked up about it.
Just enjoy that specialness that is you.

Interesting! But no... I don't think you would be you. Biologically (DNA-wise), you would be like... half you but not you, IMO.

Then you would not be exactly you, you might be someone else.
