I am now 20 weeks pregnant, went to the doctors yesterday and doc said that my uterus is right at my belly button, but there is no poppage yet!! when does that happen?

i have a boy who is two and a girl who is four months. they are beautiful. my husband is in Iraq. we all miss him dearly. my son (the two year old) is now very sick and we need some sponcers for his surgery. he has a brain tumor. we need it so much. if anyone knows where i can get those sponcers, please answer this. thank you!

i had a blighted ovum(type of misscarriage) in july this year its been 3 months since my d&c in this past october (last month) im almost 3 months pregnant now and sooo very paranoid what to do i dont know!!! but i cant enjoy my pregnacy until i get passed my 3rd month or until i have this baby!!!! anyone feel the same? how do i get over this fear? and what wekk exactlly will the threat of misscarriage stage be over? the 12th or 13th week of pregnacy? me and my fiance both are paranoid its driving me crazy and all i want to do is enjoy my pregnacy with my hubby and family and friends!!!! anyone going through this or have been through this before? my doc told me that it most likely wont happen twice! so people dont tell me it has or that it might please im all paranoid as it is!!! im almost 7 weeks this thursday and theres a baby and a heartbeat so far so good right?!!!

I know drinking alcohol can really harm the fetus, especially during the first 3 months of pregnancy, but i had a few drinks before i knew i was pregnant, i guess i found out when i was like 3 weeks, will it have any serious effect on my baby?????

i went for a ultrasound the 14th( i was just at the end of my 5th week of pregnacy) of this month everthing fine except what i thought was low was my babys heartbeat was 95,97!!! so i have another appt the 20th(ill be at the end of my 6 week of pregnacy) this coming monday its been a week on monday my qustion is do you think my babys heartbeat will go up by the time i go to m next appt monday???? please answer haws this happened to anyone and do you think it will or did eise by monday the 20th of this month whoch my next ultra sound will be? (the reasons for the early ultrasounds is because i had a previous misscarriage!) thank you answers greatly appreciated

So a few weeks ago, my boobs started leaking (I am 27 weeks pregnant). After much gagging on my part and some concern on my husbands part, we figured out it was colostrum. The OB confirmed this at my last visit. Very yucky, mildly inconvienent. On top of that, I went into preterm labor a few weeks before that and am confined to my couch until the baby is born. Can't do anything that could possibly start the labor going. My question is, I had heard that expressing the ickiness can start the process. I see something gross coming out of my boob and it is a natural instinct to want to get rid of it. Should I avoid this, or is the nipple stimulation stuff an old wives tale?

ok, I know if two sets of twins got married, obviosly there kids wouldn't be identical but is it true if they had them on the exact same day and the hospital mixed the babies up, by using the DNA would the hospital be able to tell which child belonged to which couple?
it's kind of hard to explain my question but I don't think they'd be able to because both sets of parents have the same DNA and although the two kids have different DNA, the DNA they came from was the same.

i was recently told by my doctor that an ultrasound indicated that my baby has a "sandal gap foot abnormality". i've been scheduled for a 3-d ultrasound to check for more abnormalities and possibly amnio. i have a 3 week wait for this appointment and all i've read suggests that my baby most likely has down's syndrome as it is one of the most common symtoms in children with down's syndrome. i was wondering if anyone has a baby with sandal gap that does not have down's syndrome or is otherwise completely normal.

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a way to get rid of stretch marks, Im 4 months pregnant, and my boobs have these ugly purple marks on them, I have already tried COCO butter and that didnt work, ive also tried Avon skin so soft. Is there anything out there that might be better? If I cant get rid of them is there anything that fades them?

Why is this legal? I know I know, it's too hard to stop girls from having a kids once pregnant, but seriously! When you go to an animal shelter (a good one) they make you fill out an application to ensure you'll be a good pet owner.

I mean, you can have kids before you're legally mature enough to drink! am I the only one who thinks this is a little out of proportion? drinking a beer (or a few too many and being dumb) is totally different than raising a human life! right?

I know there is no solution now, but if they came up with one what would you vote? I say at least 21 to have a kid.

my solution: when you're planning on having a kid (after you're 21) you apply and get approved based on common sense, parenting knowledge, financial situation, etc. Free condoms and birth control methods. Free abortions if needed. And a fine if you are under age and have a kid.
