I thought i was pregnant but then i started my period three days ago but i still think that i am is that possible?

I watch TV shows all the time and constantly wonder if non-parents (lack of a better word) think if that's what parenting or pregnancy is really like.

For example:

On ER you see woman have children, work and go about life as if the child had never came into their life.

On One Tree Hill there is a case of teen pregnancy where these kids (mind you only one has a job at a restaurant) live in a lavish home with really great furniture and accessories.

Even on "Everybody Loves Raymond" there are points where you see the kids and it doesn't even seem like the adult characters seem to notice they are there.

While of course these things do happen sometimes (in real life) that people have everything *great* it’s not really a common occurrence.

Do you feel almost all TV series convey parenting as glorious and not necessarily on a realistic level?

How do you think these shows effect soon-to-be parents and/or people considering to become a parent?

How could anyone want to kill a baby? Adoption is always a choice. You can open up any newspaper and find a couple wanting to adopt a baby. Some will even pay for it.

A baby is a living being. You can get an ultrasound done and see they baby move, suck it's thumb, hear it's heartbeat. The baby starts learing stuff from the beginning. they learn to recognise the voices of their family. They are thinking and learning. They are everything, but out in the world.

I understand people get raped and pregnant but adoption is always an option. Don't tell me you don't want to live with the memory, because you will never forget it no matter how many babies you kill.

Don't preach about teen pregnancy bc I know more about teen pregnancy then a lot of people. Your life is what you make it.

My question is what reasonable reason could you have for murder?

Do you think people who have abortions should ever be allowed around children seeing as they have a tendency to muder them?

My daughter is 15 months old and weighs approximatly 28 pounds, the box says under 2 consult a doctor. The medicine is Infant drops Pedia Care Long-Acting cough. I need to give it to her tonight i cant wait until tomorrow to call the doctor.....Please help.

I am about 3-4 weeks along and some guys at my work informed me that they got there girlfriend to end her pregancy with birth control. i was told that if you find out that your pregant, and if you didnt want to have the kid, and abortion is not a option then you can take birth control to end the pregancy, i know that they make the morning after pill for rape victums, but birth control, I jsut thought that it could hurt the baby not kill,

is this true?

And if so who would want to do that?

My husband and I have four kids already, all of whom I named on my own, my husband said since I had do give birth, I got to pick the names. Now with twins on the way he as showed interest in naming the girls. Please help us out to reach a compromise. Our children are Gabriel Sutton (Gabe), Malcolm Henry, Samantha Paige and Ella Mackenzie The names I would like for the twins are Riley Claire and Olivia Anne My husband has shown interest in the names Chelsea, Shelby, Mya and Loren

Our baby is teething, and has a temperature of 101. The teething has been going on for weeks now. We have taken her to the doctors and they said she is fine and that the temperature is due to the teething, and she is not sick or contagious with anything. We even got a not from the doctor to give to daycare. But the daycare refuses to babysit her because they say its the law that if they have a temperature over 100 they cant babysit them. I have never heard of this. And, they still make us pay for the days that they refuse to babysit her. We live in a very very very small town in the state of Missouri, and there are no other daycares. Her doctor specifically wrote a note to the daycare saying she was fine, but they still refuse to watch her. And can they really make us pay for days that she is not there?

We have asked them to take measures to reduce the temperature before they call us to pick her up, and they wont even do that.

okay heres the thing ...after my last period my boobs starting tingling almost like someone would prick them every once in a while so i took a preg nest. It came up neg. So I'm waiting for my next period still not yet. I'm not regular but last few months I have been getting regular at least once every month now used to be every 3.....so boobs have been really sore except for yesterday, thats when i got the redish brown mucus after i went pee and it was only once ..last night i slept on my back and this morning when i woke up I was almost brought to my knees the pain that i felt from my boobs now i'm afraid to take off my bra! .so now all day today i had to run to the bathroom cuz i kept thinking that I started there was the flow kinda feeling going on but still no AF just fluid any one know what what this could this could be ??

had sex like 3 months ago with protection (condom)and yea i have been getting my pregular periods..but i still wanted to take a test cause i know that u could still be pregnant and with periods.cause i was having some symtoms like backpain and kind of nausious thats why...well i went today and my peiod ended yesterday and today i went to the doc and took a test and the nurse tould me that i NOT PREGNANT but like my period was the hole 3 days like regularly and its light and it ended yesteday but it was a normal period, and i took the test today can it still be accurate or no?

im 17 and i just found out im pregnant with my 19 y/o boyfriend. we have been together for a while n have thought long and hard about how we would take care of the kid n where we would stay n what not... he has 2 jobs that pay him very well so money wouldnt be that much of a problem... we would move to NY and split the cost of an apartment with my mom. my mom and my dad are dead set on me getting an abortion but i refuse to... i dont believe in then and dont think they are right at all. my dad basically said that if i choose not to get one that he will take him to court for statutory rape and do anything he can to me my like hell.. i understand they are worried that we wont be able to take care of the kid but we will do anything we have to raise this kid right and if we need any help with anything his parents said they would help.i dont understand how he would take the father of the kid out of the picture and make my situation even harder... what should i do

Now I cant go and I dont have many friends and family where I stay at. I dont want to go against the doctors advise. Any suggestions on how I can still have a long distance type of shower. I was thinking maybe people could ship gifts or giftcards. I was thinking I could just have one after the baby is born but I am cheated of all the goodies that people buy for you that you dont have to buy yourself when you have a baby shower. Among his other bad behavior, he says that his family has money and that he will take the child from me once it is born if I break up with him. just this threat alone makes me very nervous. He is very vengfull which ive seen first hand, and his family has alot of money which I do not. aside from all the other probs I have with him...I feel backed up against a wall with this one.
