Good for you. Have fun being a poor teen mom while I go on to be a nurse and have the career of my dreams. I was 17 when I got pregnant the first time and 18 when I got pregnant for the second time. i think about people like you everytime I go shopping. When I buy my both of my daughter's a pair of nike shoes, i remember people like you can never afford them. When I climb in my new minivan to go to the park with my kids, I remember that girls like you have to walk because you'll never be able to own a car. When I'm having sex with the father of my children, I remember that girls like you can;t have a "one and only," because you come with baggage. So much for your perfect life huh?

You obviously have no idea what "welfare" is like. When you apply, they will make it clear that there are major time limits on how long you can be on. They may even tell you that you have to go on a long waiting list for certain resources. For example, you will probably be homeless for several months, even years while a slot in Section 8 housing opens up. Regardless, you will be placed in a job where you must work if you want to continue receiving subsidies (or you can also get a job on your own and work out something with the case worker). Even if you get full services, you will live in a slum, surrounded by violent gang members and crime. And your child will probably grow up to be one of them.
Does that sound like the type of life you want? That's the reality of being a welfare mom in america. This ain't like a socialist european country where you can move on in and go on the dole.

One day your free money will run out and your poor children will have to be the ones to suffer. If you really feel this way it shows how immature you really are and the fact is without maturity it will be a miracle for you to raise your children anyway. I bet I can guess, actually your mom is probably doing most of the raising or maybe someone close to you. You're just a child yourself. I hope eventually you get back to reality. Life is not free stuff. Somewhere you always have to pay. Hard truth to it. I figure if you think you're old enough to continue having babies to get free assistance then you are plenty old enough to hear the truth.

I am so sorry for you. Your such a loser. You have missed out on so much and your life is pretty much over. I take it your brain is the size of a grain of salt, so let me tell you a little something, While Welfare and Governement assistance is paying for your fat *** now, in 20 years (approximately) they are going to be non existance. Welfare and Social Security are running out of money fast and very fast. I know your not intelligent, but , within the next five years, there is going to be 5 million baby boomers retireing collecting an estimated 1,000 a month from SSI, well sweetheart, the government programs are running out of money. Personally, I can care less, because I have taked the proper measures to protect myself and the ones i love. So basically, enjoy it now, KID, because when your in your 30's and 40's, there isn't going to be anyone to take care of you, so have fun why you can. Your Screwed!

LOL! OK, I think I'm the only one who knows this question is a joke. You are clearly asking this "joke question" to show how stupid young teen welfare mom's are (in your perspective). I think your angle is funny but the sad part is that some young teen mom's think that way and that is just disgusting. I think there is a huge difference between a teen getting irresponsibly pregnant and a teen getting pregnant for government assistance. The sad part is that some of these irresponsible teens end up having to get welfare and that is OK but don't abuse the system. Government help is there for you...when you really need it! Funny question/comment and I'm sure you got the rise you were seeking...feel better now?

omg seriously??? I hope that you aren't serious.... most people don't like to work but they do it anyways to pay the bills and teach their children that you can't get something for nothing... btw what do mommy and daddy think of you mooching off the government??? I would also bet that you still live at home because you aren't old enough to get an apartment. So in point you need to see how you can make it in the real world with out mooching off others hard work.

you can only get TANF welfare cash benifits for five years in your enitre life time. Foodstamps you have to be in school full time or working and under poverty or ativley looking for work. They make you take a paper to palces and have it signed then they call to check that you are looking and you have to have a certain number so for all that you might as well have a job.

I don' agree that you shouldn't have to work, but I do think your main focus should be school and then work (including your kids). You're kids need to learn from you. You should watn them to have the best life possible...and working can help them to get that. Not only that, but if you don't go to school and eventually work, your welfare will run out and you will be uneducated without the ability to get any job. (even mc donald's requires a ged/diploma) Then what will you do? I will pray for you.

Because it isn't free. If you are willing to sell yourself short and be a free loader and thus teach your children to be a free loader than you are all set. But when your time is up, will you have really played to the fullest? Will you have made your life worthwhile? Why take the short route and get the smallest version of life? Play a little harder and get a taste of what's out there.
