Ok 13 year old, it does not matter how faint the line is, if there is a line it is positive. The way pregnancy test work is, when you are pregnant your body releases a hormone called hcg and that is what is detected in the test, if the line is sooooooooo faint as you indicate it is because she is probably very early into the pregnancy like 2 weeks or so. WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING??? Bringing babies to this world when you are supposed to be playing with dolls!! you two should be reported to some kind of authority so they sew your legs together!!!!! Where are your parents? Don't get too excited about having babies! do you work? does the baby's father work? do you have a good income? you obviously don't have any kind of education AT ALL, what are you going to teach your children? NOTHING, I can tell you that right now, Do you have any idea of how expensive babies are? You know how nasty it is to be supporting your kids out of other peoples money? YOU TWO MAKE ME SICK, and to think that MY TAXES are paying for you two! because you will be more likely to live out of welfare.

I really hope that this is a joke.

On most tests, two lines or a plus sign means pregnant, no matter how faint they are. Unless it was an old test or an evaporation line. Did the second line show up right away, or was it like a half an hour later? If it was later, it was probably just an evaporation line. I would suggest buying a second test or going to a planned parenthood.

Well if she has had sex she is probably pregnant. Two lines wether they are faint or not means your pregnant. However you could always try a different brand. I noticed that some brands are easier to tell than others. I suggest waiting a couple of days than taking another one. Afterwards you might want to tell your parents. There are tons of places you can go for help like pregnancy centers.

You can get a faint line and still be pregnant. It just means that it is to early but 2 lines mean Pregnant!

But you are 13 and due in March? What a good Role Model.

This is pretty darn serious if your sister is 12 - you have to get her to a doctor and get a blood test, where there are NO faint lines, you get the results and then you and your sister need to speak with your parents. (of course assuming you are younger than 18)

Step one - confirm
Step two - deal with whatever outcome with a lot of soul searching.

Well,it does depend...saying from what you say,I am guessing she is not a virgin...so if she isn't then the Chance is slim of here actually being pregnant.but if the line was very faint..then it may have been because of the light or something that made it show up,like a calculator,So I HIGHLY doubt she is pregnant...but just in case I suggest you take 1 more test to make sure...
I hope I helped!!=)

Faint lines could mean it's possible. It would just be very early in the pregnancy.

To make sure I would take another test of a different brand. Clear Blue is a good brand. And when you take the test the 2nd time wait a tiny while longer just to be sure but make sure at the same time that she get's the whole thing as directed
