Dose chart for dextromethorphan on Dr Sears site says
12-23 months (18-23lbs) 5 mg every 6-8 hours
2-6 years (24-47lbs) 5 mg every 4 hours
According to the maker of Pediacare it's 3.75mg per 0.8 ml which is 4.69 mg per ml. So I'd give 1 ml every 4-6 hours
Editing to add ... make sure the long-acting formula isn't any longer acting than the one Sears talks about on that site.

I wouldn't go any more than 1/2 of a teaspoon to be on the safe side. Seems to me when my child was about that age, that seemed to be the magic number. However, putting in a call to your local hospital or 24 hour pharmacy is the safest thing to do. Hope you get some sleep tonight!

infant drops usually have a dosage for a baby that age. There's usually 2 dosages to chose from, give the baby the lowest dosage. Remember you can always call the hospital's advice nurse.

Shes barely under two they mostly mean tiny infants you should be fine giving her maybe a few ml under recommended dosage for 2 yrs. Also you could call and ask a pharmacist at your local drug store.

You may not like it but do like the box says and consult a doctor.Or you can take advice from people on her and take the chance of giving her too much with bad results.

http://www.askdrsears.com/ go to MEDICINE CABINET. look for the medicine. sometimes the names might be slightly different...so find the closest--and DOUBLE CHECK THE ACTIVE INDGREDIENTS and make sure the % are the same. otherwise, page your dr to call you back. Dr Sears is a well known pediatrician. he's written several books too. btw, my pedi always says to go by weight. and i agree with another post, pharmacist would know (my dad was a pharmacist).

Dr. or pharmacist will tell you it is more accurate to dose by weight. Call a local pharmacy the will be able to tell you that it is safer to dose by weight anyway.
Hope this helps
