First of all, if you are a dancer, exotic or otherwise, you are already very fit, so keep it going! It's good for you, helps keep you supple, and helps to regain your shape after. You probably won't start to show anything until at least four months - 16 to 18 weeks. I don't know of any clubs that employ heavily pregnant women for dancing, but you should be fine up to about the 5th month anyway. you will know yourself what is acceptable, and you will be able to make that judgement. You would need to take it a bit easier from about 7 months anyway. Could you not do something alse in those clubs while you are heavily pregnant? I know the dancing pays well, but at the end of the day, it's your health we're taliking about here.

With the first baby it's usually around 5 months, of course with no clothes on it may be earlier. The dancing itself won't hurt the baby, but as the other poster said if you work in a place that's smoky, you'll want to find something else. Perhaps when you start to show you can cocktail instead of dance until you have the baby.

I was going to say don't quit your job at all, but you are an exotic dancer. You should not have become an exotic dancer in the first place. QUIT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe you won't show early. some women don't show before they are 5 months. about dancing, just check with your doctor. Its just cigarettes and alcohol you have to avoid. Good Luck

Since you work in a club-type area, I imagine there's a bunch of cigarette smoking going on. Excess cigarette smoke has been associated with miscarriage.
