A baby while your husband wants to wait? please don't corner him by pretending you're on birth control!!! talk to your husband, use rational arguments (not emotional ones) since he is using a rational approach. but most of all, ask yourself WHY you want a baby so bad? for you or for the child??

dont do it until you both are ready to do it otherwise it will just cause a lot of problems between you two try to compromise and ask him if things get better financially could you guys try sooner.as a mother of two a 3 year old and a 4 month old let me suggest waiting a while until your first child is alot more independent 5 years old is a good age to wait you know how much time you put in with a newborn plus your oldest will be out of the baby stage and there wont be so much jealousy

I understand how you feel. But the thing is, its best that both of you want it. At least you have child. Be happy and concentrate on this one until he goes to school. That's already another 3 years. Have some patience and understand your husband. It will happen before 5 years. Good luck

trust me honey if your husband doesn't want one don't do it. this could ruin your marriage. I've seen it happen. one of my friends did this her husband was not ready but she got her self pregnant anyways... guess what he ran off and cheated on her when she was 7 months pregnant and again when the baby was 3 months old... they are having a fabulously disastrous marriage now as you can imagine. both people have to be on board for a baby. it would be hugely self of you to force him on this now. just because its right for you does not mean its the right time. where is the hurry? if you two do not have the finances right now then your husband is right you should wait... don't you want to give your kids the best you can?... if you do then wait till your both ready as children should be wanted by both parents.

You should take your time on having a second child. Especially if you can not afford it right now. Have it when you are financially stable.

Listen to your husband. If you can't afford to have another child right now you have no business doing so.
