Before you get on your soap box, hear me out. Why is abortion wrong? Unwed mothers that don't want a child or can't afford one have the right to terminate a pregnancy but there are picketers there. And let's not forget those god fearing Christians that go around offing doctors that perform the abortions. A fetus can't survive outside the womb until it is at LEAST five months and even then, it needs extensive medical assistance. If you cling to the TRUE teachings of the church then you shouldn't seek medical help because YOUR god will cure you of all ills. "Spontaneous abortion" is the technical term for a miscarriage but no one likes to use that term.
So why is abortion wrong? I am not condoning it as a form of birth control but I do wonder why people think it is wrong to terminate a pregnancy. An unwanted child doesn't stand a fighting chance in this world and don't give me the adoption crap either. Gay couples can't adopt the kids "no one else wants" because they are gay.

I am 34 weeks pregnant and have already been to the hospital 2 times. Both because I started having contractions so hard I thought I was in labor, however, I wasnt. They were coming strong and close enough that the doc. gave me a shot to stop them and eventually sent me home. The second time they gave me a pill and checked me and this time they told me that I was still closed and thick so they didnt think I would actually go into labor until my due date. This morning I woke up and had to use the bathroom but as soon as I set up I just didnt have any control and Im guessing pee just came out. I tried my best to hold it to the bathroom but it just kept coming. At first I thought it was my water breaking but, I waited to see if anymore would come out and it didnt, plus I was told you would feel big relief and I didnt. Since then I have been having sharp little pains all around my belly, feeling very sick, even if I just drink water and I havent been hungry. Anyone Experienced this?

Well i am 17 and i'm on birthcontrol... well my boyfriend ran outta condoms.. and since we are both clean we had sex without condoms... and well he didnt pull out in time... but the big problem is.. that night i lost my birthcontroll for 4 days.... i was wondering..could be it possible that i am pregnate?? I would take a take a test but i'm always working in the day time and school time at night..... i just need to know if i might be pregnate...... please help me!!

I am 33 and my husband and I are planning on trying to have a baby soon. We have been married for 8 years and the time was never right. I want to get on the pill. My mom gave me the name of her gyno, and i'm going to call her. But I don't want my mom to know. I feel akward. And I don't want her to think differently of me. Police charged a Maine couple on Monday with kidnapping of their pregnant 19-year-old daughter, who was bound with rope and duct tape. The parents wanted her to have an emergency abortion. They were apparently angry because the daughter's boyfrirend was in jail.
They were headed to New York for the abortion. The daughter managed to excape when going to bathroom at a K-Mart. She called police. They found the parents searching for their daughter in the parking lot. And they found the daughter in a "hysterical state"
Inside the parents' Lexus, police found duct tape, severed rope, a pair of scissors, a 22-calibrer rifle and a loaded magazine for that weapon..
Parents held on 100,000 dollar bail for each.
If convicted, both parents face 7-12 to 15 years in prison.

But humnmm. duct tape? severed rope? a knife,? scissors?, and a rifle with a loaded magazine?

Sounds like an 'alternate plan' to me ...What do you think?.

I was just watching the news and a 1 week old baby was stolen and the mother was stabbed in missouri......Why would someonesteal a baby? It made my stomach upset cause i have a 2 1/2 yr old and 17 weeks pregnant if someone stole my baby they would have time to be arrested.

I wasn't actually "breast" feeding, but I was pumping my milk for my daughter because she had to have open-heart surgery and I could not immediately breast feed and I had to strictly monitor her intake with a feeding tube, but I just stopped pumping and my breasts feel like they're going to fall off. HI there. I’ve been on and off antibiotics which interfere with my contraceptive pill and whilst me and my husband were very careful there may have been once or twice (with in the seven day wait after you finish your course) that might have been a little too soon. Anyway, having said that. My period has come a little early and its very very heavy, I feel nauseated, have no energy at all and have cramps which are not normal to my periods. I also have some dark clotting. Before this I had sensitive sore breasts and dizzy spells (like I had when I was pregnant with my daughter) but they have gone now. Is it possible that this is a very early miscarriage? Would a pregnancy test be able to show this or is it too soon. I have an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow but am curious to know if anyone else has experienced this.

I understand if the child's parent(s) are overseas, having a medical problem, or have died but other than that I'm not sure. Personally, I feel that my mother raised me and that this is HER time. I wouldn't want her to raise mine. Just opinions on this.

First of all I am 21 (just to give some background) My boyfriend and I have been doing things lately and have both gotten REALLY curious. I have a 10 month old son and my husband and I are trying to conceive another child. I want to be a stay at home mom because I don't want to miss out on my kids life. I have been staying home since my son was born, but now that we are trying to concieve another child, Iam not sure if I should go back to work.
