yes u can and most when with twins who breastfeed do it at the same time. the doctor will show u after u give birth but u would hold one under your arm almost like holding a football tucking the babys mouth under your breast and the same with the other twin on the other side. U can also buy a good breast pump and bottle feed them, they would still be getting breast milk that way. I breastfed and pumped off and on.
Congratulations and Good Luck!!

YES!! Good for you for wanting to nurse, that is so awesome. It's very rewarding. My cousin had twins and nursed them both. Thing is, you can pump as well if you don't feel like they are eating enough right away, or you are engorged and hurting. You can refridgerate and also FREEZE your milk, and that helps. However, they may have different eating schedules, which could be nice in a way. You will just have to see how it goes and what your babies prefer. Once you get used to their eating habits, it will be pretty easy. But it is definitely great to nurse twins. Good luck to you, and CONGRATS!!! They are truly a blessing from God.

Don't disregard your grandmother's advice so quickly, the elderly know many things from experience.
But, back to your question, yes, it is possible to feed them both a once. My mother did it with my much younger twin brothers.

yes you can nurse twins, you will have enough milk.
When hubby comes home pump one breast and feed baby one while hubby feeds baby two with the bottle of breast milk.
that way he can feed the babies too.

No experience but I know a woman who breastfed triplets for 9 months. She had to pump and give it to them in bottles but she made enough milk. Amazing what the body is capable of!
Congratulations!

My friend did it -still is and they are 2 years old. She was most comfortable nursing them with the football position - one on each side. It got more interesting later when they could stand!

Sure you can nurse twins! You can nurse them one at a time or you can nurse them both together.

Contact your local La Leche League Leader. She may be able to put you in contact with other mothers who have breastfed twins.

I know of lots of women that do! It's complicated at first, you might need help (getting them both latched on, and comfy) but I know a few women that flow right through it like it's easy as pie! Good luck.........just remember to get some help!

You certainly can!!! Easier to do it that way, then after they eat, pump for 5 or ten minutes and freeze it, so you can get them adjusted to the bottle if you have any issues, like sore nipple, etc!!! You'll see, it is easy when they are here!!! CONGRATS
