I am 34 weeks pregnant and have already been to the hospital 2 times. Both because I started having contractions so hard I thought I was in labor, however, I wasnt. They were coming strong and close enough that the doc. gave me a shot to stop them and eventually sent me home. The second time they gave me a pill and checked me and this time they told me that I was still closed and thick so they didnt think I would actually go into labor until my due date. This morning I woke up and had to use the bathroom but as soon as I set up I just didnt have any control and Im guessing pee just came out. I tried my best to hold it to the bathroom but it just kept coming. At first I thought it was my water breaking but, I waited to see if anymore would come out and it didnt, plus I was told you would feel big relief and I didnt. Since then I have been having sharp little pains all around my belly, feeling very sick, even if I just drink water and I havent been hungry. Anyone Experienced this?

for my daughter, i have pains from strong contractions long before my water broke. but for my son, my water broke first and i still did not have any pains at all but i went to the hospital right away bec i was afraid the baby will be "dry". pls go right away. never mind if you are not ready yet to have baby delivered. it's better to be safe than sorry. the nurse is trained to know if you are ready. they will surely understand that lots of pregnant women go to the hospital bec it feels like the baby is coming even if it's not the case. that's okjay. they will check you and just send you home if you are not ready. still better be safe than sorry.

I gave birth to my son at 33 weeks. I woke up and had the urge to pee. Went to the bathroom and water gushed out. It was a pinkish color and just wouldn't stop. I had no pain but made my husband call Labor and Delivery. I was told to come in and sure enough I was in labor. Within 6 hours of getting to the hospital my son was born. I think you should just go to the L & D as it sounds like your water broke and in pre-term labor. Good luck!

Hi there are 2 ways your water can break either they trickle away slowly or they go in a gush. The pains around your belly are pressure pains and they get stronger as the event gets nearer! its sounds to me as if things are going to be sooner than you think because my baby was 6 weeks prem and i had all of your symptoms but also if you are nearing your time you will feel an unbelieveable pressure in your pelvic areaso much so that its uncomfortable to even walk which gets stronger as the days go on. I think you should see your doctor soon again and tell him how concearned you are hope ive helped. Good luck with the big day !

If I were you I'd go back to the hospital (especially if you don't know if it was urine or not, better to be safe than sorry.) Because it sounds to me like your water broke and now the baby's head is plugging the hole. I don't remember feeling any "big relief" when my water broke with my kids, I do remember it trickling out every once in awhile when I moved a certain way. Good luck!

when our second son was born, we made 4 trips to the hospital, being admitted twice, with zero success, in spite of measurable contractions. we were certain it was baby time, only to be sent home. when the baby wants to come out, the doctor will know it, but don't think twice about going to the hospital. better you visit 10 times and one is right than stay home and give birth in the car on the way there.

It does sound like your water broke.i had my baby 36 weeks. When my water broke it was uncrontrolable at first ,like you , I had a little cramping, but it's normal when they are so low.. When my water broke it didnt last that long. they had to induce me.. so you dont have to go into labor to have a sign that the baby is coming he could already be on it's way
