I couldn't believe how many people were rattled by the cover of this months Babytalk Magazine which features a baby being breast fed on the cover.

"Readers of a US parenting magazine are crying foul over the publication's latest cover depicting a woman breastfeeding, with some calling the photo offensive and disgusting."

"Several readers said they were "embarrassed" or "offended" by the Babytalk photo and one woman from Nevada said she "immediately turned the magazine face down" when she saw the photo."

These quotes were taken from a news website, and I just couldn't believe how much of a BIG deal was made over this!!!

What are your thoughts?!?

I have recently heard that you can't or shouldn't get a tattoo while you are brest feeding, but I have never heard anything about it before. I have been on line all morning trying to get some answers. Anyone know of a site or place where I can find out.. thanks!

I love kids, but there are just some children that are so awful that I do not like being around them. The woman I work with brings her two boys to work with her when the boss is gone and the younger one is such a little sweetheart. But the older one is a total brat. He is a little smart-@ss to me, talks back to his mother and is very mean to his little brother. Their mother acts like she doesnt even notice. I mean, do some parents not know that their children are brats?

i've heard that is safest for children under twelve years old to ride in the back seat (and to be in a booster until they are eight), but it seems that not many people adhere to that.

I had mine done and dont really think there's anything wrong with me and it taught me a lesson when I was a kid. I was wondering if its alright to do to my kids when the time comes. I also had tabasco put on my tongue and that inspired me to not cuss until I was 16. It was a ten year cure and am considering that too.

After about 6 or 7 weeks i got REALLY sick. Couldn't keep anything down. My doctor put me on diclectin, which really seems to be working, but i haven't taken my prenatal vitamins since i started on them. This morning, i tried taking one and threw up. Should i avoid taking them until my husband's health coverage from work kicks in and i can get the new prenatal vitamins that split it up into a morning and evening dose? That is supposed to be better if you have morning sickness because it separates the iron from something else, and doesn't make you as sick. I am 8 and a half weeks now, and his coverage won't kick in for another month and a half at least.

Okay. My son is 14 months old... I only have one. After my son was born I had heart failure... I'm too young to get fixed and my medical problem will not get it done. I had a near death experience and I was on b.control... It didn't work.... if I have another child I will pretty much will not be here to take care of my first child or let alone see my second one be born... should I have an abortion??? What would you do....

A week after my last period my breasts got super sore and huge.... but after reading about it they didn't tingle. I have been cramping for the last 2 and a half weeks but I shouldnt start for another week. I have been extremely tired for about a week and a half. I have gone through many many moods lately too. After reading about the signs of pregnancy I have noticed I have about a third of them. I don't have morning sickness and I am not constipated. Should I go see my doctor?

I was just wondering, you know how your vaginal area bleeds for a lil while after natural childbirth? Well, does the vaginal area bleed if the woman has a c-section instead of vaginal birth?

I just had a baby 4 months ago, and I wanted to know how long the pregnancy hormone stays in your body. I am not breastfeeding, but I may be pregnant again. Will the test be pos. this soon after delivery?

I support abortion for various personal reasons. Although, I do respect other people's views that may conflict with my own, unless if it's prejudice, threatening, or violent in any way. Thank you!

I am 40, my husband 47, both excellent health, married 13 yrs., no financial concerns. We have a beautiful 15 mo.old son. I would love another baby. My husband says "no way!, too risky, life is great the way it is" (true) But he originally thought we'd have 3, then 2 then maybe one. We got a late start because he kept wanting to put off becoming parents. I would love for my son to have a sibling and experience pregnancy one more time. Should I push the issue?

i've had 2 c-sections one 4 years ago and another 2 years ago and to this day i think of what a horrible experience it was. I felt like i would die and i've never felt that way before. The first time I was induced and my sons heart rate started to drop so i had an emergency c-section after i had already had an epidural. The anesthesiologist told me "you are going to feel like there is a horse on your chest" and then it started...i felt like i had someone's hands around my throat choking me. i felt like my eyes were going to roll back in my head and i whispered to my husband that i can't see the baby until i can breath again because i thought if i saw the baby i would definately faint from overwhelming emotion! I have always felt guilty for that and wish i could go and tell all the nurses that heard that that i didn't mean i didn't want the baby! i was just out of my mind scared i couldn't breath....anyway, i've never met anyone else who experienced a c-section like this.
