Im 16 weeks pregnant, Im 18 & healthy, there is no one in my family with downs syndrome or in my partners family. How likely is it that our baby will have downs syndrome?..as ive got some blood tests coming up that will check for this as well as spina bifida & im quite worried.

My cycle is every 32 days, my last period was july 20th. i know when your ovulation your cervix should be high and open. From the ovualtion calculator it says i should be ovulating right now. Why does the cervix feel low and hard?

Hello every one, i am really afarid right now, because i had sex with my x-gf about 4 times, and she wanted me to pull out those 2 out of 4 times, and since i was new at sex i didnt know if i did or not. my parents know that i had sex with her, i am just really scared, because my future is going to hell, i am freaking out, what should i do. The girl who i dtaed doesnt want to have kids, so should i tell her to tell her mom, that she is pregnant, and needs to get a aboriton, HELP ME!!

My first son was born July 10. I had him natural. I was happy because didn't want a C section and my doctor did everything he had to make sure I didn't have to have a C section.Baby came out face up or as they say in lamaze sunny side up. So the point I ripped from one hole to the next. I healed well and only had taken pain meds for about 3 days after labor. Doing everything I was doing before beside lifting heavy stuff and I'm no longer bleeding. But doctor says may be 6 weeks before I can have sex again so my bottom can completely heal. But call me crazy but since me and my husband have been together I've never gone this long without sex and I'm going crazy any advise on what to do?

A friend of mine has a new gf and she(the gf) has just become pregnant. Now I haven't met my friends gf yet but am a little concerned as I dont want to prejudge her yet, they are considering an abortion. I am anti-abortion unless it's under extreme circumstances and dont know if I can get along with her knowing that she made a decision to kill her unborn child. Be honest women! How may of you really got strech marks? I used to do a little modeling. But now I refuse to wear a swimming suit. I am 5'1 and started out in the 102- 108 llbs before I got pregnant with both kids. Gained a lot of weight with both pregnancies. Got strech marks on legs (even calfs) buttox, stomach, and my breasts. I don't feel very good and I feel like everyone else has perfect bodies. Any one out there who got them please be honest

Well im now about 7-8 weeks pregnant and yesterday when i went to the toilet i had a small amount of brown blood stained in my pants, but i kept an eye and when i woke the morning i have had nothing since. but i just used the toilet and again there is some brown coloured blood present. I have no stomach ache or anything. i already have one little boy and this didnt happen. i also know it is not uncommon in early stages of pregnancy for spotting but i dont know if this is what u class as spotting.

I've noticed people talking about abortion and they're obviously referring to miscarriage, which I know is at least the US term for a spontaneous abortion. So is calling miscarriage an abortion (because a miscarriage is an abortion by the body) a UK thing, like how fries are chips, and chips are crisps, and diapers are nappies, and that kinda thing?

I have been looking over some question and answers and have noticed that a lot of parents on here let their children sleep with them... i'm from australia and have a 16 month old... he has never slept with me and as far as i know none of my friends let their kids sleep with them either.. i was just curious about what other people do... please tell me ur childs age and whether or not they sleep with you and why?? not here to judge just trying to find out about other cultures
also could u tell me where u are from and if it is acceptable where u live to do this...
my son slept in my room until he was about 2 or 3 months old but it was always in a cot at the end of the bed... never in our bed... i was always too scared i would roll on him.. good luck to all those parents trying to get their kids out of their beds...
BTW i am also a single mum and have never had the urge to sleep with my son in my bed for comfort..

Okay...I live in the Southern Tier of New York and I have been searching for a Child Care Center for 2 weeks with reasonable rates and they are telling me that reasonable in $168-$210 a week for and infant and $95-$125 for a school aged child. Are these people crazy? If I go to work or back to school that is all of my income just to child care. Is this crazy or am i just over reacting?
