I don't see the act of feeding a baby as offensive.
I don't see the human body as being offensive.
We all have similar parts so there are no strange surprises for the most part.
Letting a child starve would be offensive and disgusting to me.

I believe that the picture was far from bein offensive, honeslty breastfeeding is one of the most natural and wonderful things a mother can experience. Our society now days is so open to so many different points of view that, making such a big deal about something so natural as a mother feeding her baby is completely absurd.
I read the magazine on a regular basis, and when I saw this months cover, I thought the baby was adorable.
I must say that when my son was breastfeeding, I used to do it anywhere, because it's something that nobody can take away from me as a mother.

I do not understand why? If a parent subscribes to this type of magazine, they are subscribing to the thoughts, ideas, opinions and advice that this magazine has to offer, such as breastfeeding tips and so on. If one is so grossly offended by such topics, then why subscribe to this sort of magazine?
The sole purpose of the female breast is, in fact to nourish newborn children!!!
I commend the editor for this article!

Some people are overly sensitive about nothing. All you saw was the side of a breast and a baby's face. I thought the photo was tastefully done.
This is how God intended for babies to be fed. Get over it, people! :-)

Seems like people like to make a big deal out of nothing, don't they. I agree with you. A baby magazine featuring what pediatricians proclaim the best thing you can do for your newborn.

I agree. When I see a woman breastfeeding in public I sit right down and watch. It is the miricle of life. She is givning her child life coming right form her body- how incredible. I was offended when I was told to stop looking, but how can watching be offensive when the act itself is not.?

I think that we have greater things to be worried about like the war! Breast feeding is a natural thing and noone should be disgusted by it. I think it's so ridiculous that people have that kind of judgment over a cover. I think it's wrong and stupid to be fighting about something as silly as a woamn beast feeding.

We are a ridiculously prudish society, who oversexualizes everything. Just because the breast also has sexual connotations we are ashamed to watch a human baby being fed the only nourishment that nature intended for them. Ridiculous.

It doesn't make sense. I hope the people that complained about it also complained about all of the magazines that are on the shelves in full view. Especially considering that majority of them have almost naked woman on them or worse.
