My daughter is getting all of her 2 month old vaccines on Thursday. I just wanted to know how everyone elses babies did with them. We leave for vacation 2 days later and I didnt know if she would still be sore and irritable from them. Also, are they all separate needles or are they combined??? Thanks!

My 9 month old baby is teething and has really bad diarreah. Also has a really bad diaper rash. I've tried A and D but is not doing anything, her doctor also gave me a prescribtion but also not doing anything. What can I give her for her diarreah? So far today she's only drank 2 6 oz bottles and right after that she used the restroom bad. She doesn't want a bottle anymore. She also got her shots 2 days ago I don't know if that could also be a reason why she is sick. What can I feed her that can help her stomach.

my baby was born at 26 weeks gestation, and while I was in hospital with her i was able to produce 40/60mls every 3hours.The trouble is since i've been home i'm lucky if i get 10mls. im trying not to stress but its difficult to keep up with the demand. i purchased a portable hand pump so that i could express on the go, but its impossible to be out and have it sterile. and i can't stay at home all day as i have other children to take care of. Does anyone have any mircle so i can make more milk?

I am wanting to change over to formula milk but while doing so keep supplimenting my baby with my own breast milk. I am using the Tomme Tippee breast pump which works fine but takes a while to get milk from my breasts. I would like to know if giving her a bottle of my breast milk a day be good enough? Thank you.

I've read that the goal of feeding young infants is to teach them how to eat and to familiarize them with textures and tastes. Not necessarily for nutritional value. Here's my question;

My 6 month old daughter is doing great with her fruits and vegetables. I've given her rice cereal and she does fine with it. Is there any reason to continue giving her cereal or is it OK to only feed her fruits and vegetables until we move to Stage 2 foods?

I currently use scented bags made especially for dirty diapers. But they're so thin, and even if I use two at a time, the smell is still very obvious.

Everytime i go to the doctors my mom and her husband watch my daughter. And recenlty i have discovered that she does not want baby food, they have given her fish, chicken...our kind of food. is it normal? can she handle it? since she doesnt want to eat baby foods now that she is used to table foods, should i continue on it with her myself? im afraid it might be bad for her or is it just me because this is my first child? and she seems so "greedy" everytime i turn around she is reaching for food or just wants it because someone else has it..But she has eaten a full meal and has had juice and such and im pretty sure she is full....what is wrong with her??? im aggitated and i dont know what to do help?!?

My 1 year old daughter won't drink very much during the day. She hasn't had a bottle since 9 months and drinks from sippie cups, cups with straws, etc. I have tried everything...milk, juice, water, etc. to get her to drink more. I even sit her on my lap before each meal and make sure she drinks at least 3-4 ounces. I also have put a sippie cup of water in her crib with her at night and during naps. Anyone have any other suggestions to get her to drink more? I have noticed that her diapers are not wet as much as they were in the past and I am concerned.

My daughter just had her 6 month check up and had her shots. These are the same shots she had at 2 and 4 months. I don't remember this happening at her 2 month check up but at her 4 month, the spot where the shot was, immediately turned red and hard. Then after a week or so, it bruised..for quite some time, too. I informed the Dr. about it and also read up on it. She didn't show any other symptoms. Now that she had her shots yesterday, it has again turned hard and red. She also was fussy through her dinner, and threw up once and spit up after her bottle (this is very abnormal) I called the Dr. right away and she said, it could just be a touch of what ever was in the shot (ruebella) and she should be just fine but to monitor it. I then told a friend and she said her son had the same thing with his shots (red, hard, and a bit sick). Another friend said her child had no problems. What about you guys? Is my daughter's symptoms normal?

My daughter had her 2 month check up with her Ped today and he said she has Anisocoria. Her right pupil is bigger than the left. He set her up with an eye dr. but ive been looking it up on the net and everything ive read says she should see a nuro-surgen. I dont know if I should call her Ped back and request a nuro or if i should just wait and see what the eye dr says. Has anyones new born had this. Her Ped told us he doesnt think its anything, but anyone thats a parent knows how it is when a dr says theres someting wrong.
