I live in a townhouse. The guy who lives on my bedroom wall side always plays his music very loud at 1 am. I need to go to sleep around 10pm. I have to get up for work at 5 am. My husband has trown a box at the wall several times to show him that we are angry and instead he turns the music up. I get no sleep from 1am on. I am 6 month pregnant and need as much sleep as i can get. How do I approach this guy?

My son has used a nipple on the bottle for so long, that it has become large, icky, and gross, however, he loves it. The problem is, the nipple recently became unusable when it tore from over use. Now he does not want a newer nipple, which is also smaller. I have been unable to locate larger nipples in the stores. It seems as if there is only one size. I've tried boiling the newer nipples to see if they would expand, but htis does not work. Any suggestions????

My baby is 9 weeks old and eats as much as 40 ounces a day. She is not overweight, in fact, she's right in the middle as far as averages go. I hear all different opinions about when to start solids but I feel that at this point(since she's eating soo much formula) it would be ok to start her on solids. I know to start with cereal and then move on to jars of food, testing them one at a time as to avoid allergies. I just want opinions. Do you think it's too soon to start solids?

What are the health risks for having a dog in your house and smoking when you have 8 wk old twins? I read that asthma is one of them and I assume that the babies can develop allergies from the pet dander and that the children are at risk of breathing in anything that the dog brings in. My cousin smoked all through her pregnancy and now smokes in the same room as her babies and now allows her dog (that she found as a stray) to stay in her house. I'd like to know the health risks that her babies are being exposed to.

Please don't think I am one of those parents who is competitive and over pushes her kids. I am not! I am sure that my son is behind the curve in many areas, and I couldn't care less. All kids progress differently and they are all OK. I AM JUST WONDERING if this is an above average skill for his age... My son is 10 months and gets extremely excited to read books. He seemingly never gets bored. He will want to change to a new book, but he never wants to stop reading. If given a choice between toys and books, he will paw through books and try to turn the pages. Last night he escaped from the bathroom where we were preparing for a bath, and he crawled as fast as his little legs would take him to the book area, not the toys. Is this typical for his age? Are all kids like this at this age? Is this a predictor that he will love books as a child, too? Were your kids like this and do they love books now? We didnt push books on him. We read to him at bed and it grew from there!

I ran out of liquid detergent to clean my babies bottles, I have to do it a few times a day or I would put in dishwasher. I was wondering if it is safe to use antibacterial liquid soap to clean them if I rinse really well. I can't take my baby out because it is so nasty out and he just got his shots yesterday.

I have a Graco 3-speed baby swing and the motor stopped working. At first, I thought it was the batteries, but I put new ones in and it still doesn't work. Are baby swing motors fixable or do I have to buy another one? The person I bought the swing from had just put a new motor in it and that was only about 4 months ago or less.

why,why not?I live overseas, its not required here,so its very expensive. also, I was wondering if you have to wait before your baby gets any immunizations when they are sick. if so, then how long should you wait? I have heard some docs don´t wait, and mixed opinions about it.

I have a friend, who wakes her baby up in the day, so that it sleeps at night. The baby boy is only four months old, but the Mom has been doing this since it was born.

I cannot tell the Mom directly, but if I get some concrete advise on the actual implications, I would be able to politely tell my friend, if she is doing wrong...

God bless

My daughter is 6 and a half months old, and she isn't rolling over yet. My mom and sister say it's because I didn't give her a lot of tummy time when she was younger. She sits up by herself, she's babbling and is on cue basically for her age besides the rolling over part. When she was younger I put her on the floor but she would always cry so I would pick her up, now she doesn't like to lay on the floor and I pick her up when she starts to cry for to long. A couple months ago it looked like she was trying to roll side to side but now she's not trying at all. I feel like it's my fault for not letting her get used to tummy time. What can I do to make tummy time better for me and her and to help her learn to like it and to roll over?

My son is three days old, and about 15-30 minutes after each feeding (he is breastfed) he has an extremely watery, greenish-yellow bowel movement. He nurses every 2 hours, give or take, and nurses about 10 minutes on each breast during every meal. Is the diarrhea something i should be concerned about?

According to yahoo maps the trip will be 724 miles.. Southern Cal to Northern Cal.
We would be traveling by car.

My question is this... would it be extremely hard to travel with a 6 week old by car? Any suggestions?
