I'm not sure about what it means but I love it! That name sounds so brave and true. It really sounds like it has a good story behind it. Congratulations on your baby boy! :) Good Luck!

My 4 week old son is called Peter James. We named him after both the grandfathers but they are both Apostles from the Bible. I know both are Hebrew. I don't think you should worry too much about what the name means, unless it's something you might find offensive, but choose a name that suits him. I know so many people who decided on a name and then realised their baby didn't look like it. When I first held me son and said his name he looked at me so I know he got the perfect name. Good luck

I see you already have the meaning of the name James. It is a good manly name. The short version of probably what they will call him in school is Jim. There's nothing wrong with that name either. Go for it!

I don't know what that name stands for but i can tell you that any name you choose it would perfect. Now a days people are trying to get away from traditional names and use uncommon ones. My son's name is Jayden and i thought that was not as frequently used until one day at Mc Donald's we met another child named Jayden . There are names like Jenson,Jared etc. that are starting to get used. Remember no matter what anyone tells you any name that you use is awesome ! Good-luck!!!!
