I'm in the same boat! We are also having a bad snow/ice storm and I waited until the last minute. Now I'm stuck at home with my 8 month old. I plan to make some homemade "coupons" for my husband. I will include items such as..."good for one back rub", "good for one batch of homemade choc. chip cookies", etc. Hope this helps! Good luck!

have a picnic inside for him. Sounds like you can pick up some food or use what you have at the house. Just use a blanket in an open space like living room floor, etc and have candles or whatever to make romantic. No extra money since you would eat dinner anyways and you can either have the baby in the room, or put down for a nap. Also a letter telling him how much you appreciate him would be nice.

if you're particularly only acquaintances and also you at the on the spot are not searching to develop into more desirable, then possibly a distinct form of flora. Daisies or lilies or soemthing. If her well known flora are roses and she or he's often used with you recognize that, then that could want to favor to be high-quality, yet no longer purple. possibly white or yellow or red or a mixture of colorations. different pleasant presents might want to be hand-crafted baked products or a sparkling CD that she's had her eye on or something else of the non-romantic variety. in case you 2 are particularly sturdy acquaintances and she or he's often used with that you're only being a outstanding buddy, then inspite of you want to get her will be high-quality. Some chocolate dessert! Or cook him his favorite meal. I'm sure you can have a great evening!
I used to do Kraft Diner for Valentines Day and place it in form of a heart... dining with candles... just a little romantic, and very cheap!

go to foodnetwork.com and come up with some fabulous recipes for dinner for him.
put the baby in his/her chair to watch Elmo while you whip up a quick fabulous meal.
buy a nice bottle of wine or something too.
it's the thought that counts, and a nice meal is good on the pocketbook and speaks to his heart.

greet him with a kiss and a hug and you. For most men that is more than enough to get the blood heated up
