well not exactly, we named him sonny issac nichols-s.i.n.
we thought it would be cool when he got older but our whole family HATES it, why? i thought it was creative. only one person in my family likes it, my older sister, but she is gothic/punk like.

Okay, my husbands Nicholas the thrid. I don't really want 2 Nicholas's, i think it would be too confusing. I don't want to dissapoint the family or anything. I just REALLY don't want to use the name. He's going to be our first boy (we found out) so it is tradition.
Any advice. My husband says he picked the girls name so he want me to pick the boys (with in reason.) He says he doensn't care if its a Nicholas and i think hes telling the truth.

I'm only 16 days post pardum but I'm dying to work out on the elliptical machine that my husband gave me for Christmas. If I go slow and do a little at a time do you think that would be fine? I know a lot of people will probably say wait until your 6 week check up and ask the doctor but I wish I could start now. Had anyone else started working out a little soon after their baby was born? I certainly won't run myself down or use the machine for too long or on higher levels but I really would like to do something. Thanks for your advice and answers. Serious ones only please.

When I read things about constipation it usually says that constipation is "hard" stools. To me "hard" is a very general term. Can anyone help me out? My baby (8 months) generally goes every other day, strains and turns red, but is not in pain. Stools tend to vary from soft and mushy to more formed. Please help!

I am finding that I have less milk when I go to feed my baby or express I get hardly anything out. My husband and I have been going through a very stressful time and I think that it has sadly affected my milk. Please can anyone tell me how and if I can get more milk supply back as I really dont want to give up and go on to bottles as my other two I managed to breastfeed until they were a year.

Please help

Thanks

I've been feeding my 6 mo. old cereal w/fruit and a 8 oz. bottle 3 times a day and a 8oz. bottle in between. He sleeps great at night. His last bottle is at 8 or 9 pm and he sleeps usually until 9:30 am. But the family keeps telling me I'm feeding him too much that I need to cut down. So I started giving him between 4 and 5 oz. bottles with his cereal. But he still acts hungry and now wakes any where between 4:00 am and 7:00 am. for a bottle. I try not to give him one but he won't go back to sleep he just crys and crys. Any one with suggestions ??

4 days ago I took my s on to the ER with a 102 degree temp. The doc looked at him, said he had a sore throat and a cough and gave him Motrin to kill the fever. He prescribed AZITHROMYCIN (zithromax) and a cough medicine. Nowmy son has diareaha (3 times a day, at least) is throwing up phlemy stuff mainy when he eats, doesnt want to eat very much and sleeps alot. I read somewhere that azithromycin isnt good to give to infants under 6 months beause of he effects i has on the liver. ive been giving the baby pedialyte (or as much as he will drink anyay) and his medicine...what else can I do?

I started my son on cereal and am slowly adding fruits and vegetables to his diet. Now that he has started this new diet he is not as interested in drinking his formula. It takes so long for him to finish a bottle now. Has this happened to anyone else once they started their babies on solids??
