Hi. Good question and one I just looked up myself. My daughter is 4 months old and has just started watching them. She LOVES them. We have five of them, although she has only watched Language Nursery, Baby Mozart, and Baby Beethoven. Here is what I got off the baby Einstein site.
Birth and up - Baby Bach,Baby Mozart, Baby Santa's music box
1 month and up - Baby Beethoven, Language Nursery
6 months and up - Baby's First Moves, Baby Monet,
9 months and up - Baby Da Vinci, Baby Neptune, Baby Galileo, Baby MacDonald,
12 months and up - Baby's Favorite Places, Baby Newton, Baby Noah, Neighborhood Animals, Baby Shakespeare, Baby Van Gogh, Baby Wordsworth First Words, Meet the Orchestra, Numbers Nursery, On the Go, and World Animals.
I hope this helps. Enjoy, Its sooo cute watching them watch these videos.

The Baby Einstein DVDs usually specify an age range and vary depending on the video. We have show a 1 year old video to our 3 month old and she can watch it with interest for 10 minutes or so.

My baby started watching videos at 3 months. The baby einstein movies are not that great and are way over priced. Its just a brand. My baby LOVES this video called The Baby Society and watches it just about everyday. She'd watch it all day if I let her. Check it out! It is made by a speach pathologist and the video teaches them words. My baby is only 10 months and has a vocabulary of over 20 words.

I got "the music show" when my daughter was 4 months old. She looked at it, and noticed the music, but I was the one who benefitted from it.
My daughter is now 1 year old exactly, and LOVES all the einstein shows/movies.

I bought a whole bunch of those videos and after doing some research I found that children under 2years should be watching TV. Their little brains aren't ready for that type of input. I'm sure your baby would enjoy them any time after 3mo, and I know its an easy way to get stuff done around the house, but studies have shown that there are links to ADHD/ADD and Autism for infants who watch TV. Its a bad habit we have here in the US....don't start it now, if you can help it. Get a jumper-roo or exersaucer instead...maybe a play-yard.

The ages range, depending on the video. Each video will tell you the appropriate ages. I started my children around 3 months with Baby Mozart, Baby Bach and Baby Beethoven. I found they were great for young babies. I would strap them in to their bouncy chair or high chair, turn on a video and it gave them something to do while I got a shower or did some laundry.
The videos for older children are very educational. Kids love them and learn a lot from them.

depends on your child. Some won't even notice the TV until they are 2 yrs old and some like my infant watches it at 3 months. She only watches it for 10 minutes before she loses interest but she does notice it and enjoy it for a asmall period of time.
Plus, the appropriate ages are right on the box!

My son was about 7 months when he started watching baby Einstein but it also depended on which one I put in. He also loved being in his jumper when watching so he could bounce to the music they play.
