No, it has to be thrown out. It has been opened overnight. Refrigeration slows the growth of bacteria, keeping food safe. Since it was no in the fridge, there was nothing protecting it. Also, baby food has no preservatives. even though you did not feed right from the container, things will still have been growing in there.
Pitch it and open a fresh one.

Most people are going to say "better safe than sorry" and even jars of baby food have crazy restrictions like eat within three days of opening.
However, provided your baby is older than 6 months, which they really should be before offering solids, my rule: Feed them as you would yourself.
Would you eat the sweet potatoes? Maybe. I know I probably would, I know some people wouldn't. I know I certainly keep open jars of applesauce for longer than 3 days.
This article may help take some of the fear out of infant feeding as well. Give it a read and you may find, that like me, you don't buy commercial baby food, nor do you use a baby mill. Maybe not, but a different perspective now and then can't hurt:

Better safe than sorry--THROW IT OUT...germs are microscopic and just becuase you didnt feed straight from the container doesnt mean that there arent germs in it now. Unless it is vacuum sealed, all sorts of bacteria can enter the food and thrive easily, given the warm temperature and the sugar in the baby food.

No.
When in doubt, throw it out.
Baby food is cheap. It's a lot cheaper to throw away a half a thing of baby food than it is to deal with a baby who has food poisoning for several days. Trust me, my kiddo has had the flu since Monday night (she's finally sleeping) and I am about done in.

Nope, why take the chance of your baby getting sick. Throw it out , because bacteria can grow fast on babyfood.
