well not exactly, we named him sonny issac nichols-s.i.n.
we thought it would be cool when he got older but our whole family HATES it, why? i thought it was creative. only one person in my family likes it, my older sister, but she is gothic/punk like.

It's not really anyone else's business, is it? If he becomes an auditor, he will write those initials over and over again on each sheet of paper he prepares...

The family is just probably thinking he will get tagged as a "sinner" or something bad when he gets older.....

I would strongly advise against naming a child anything that spells out words with the initials........but my mother named my sister Amber Starr. I just hope she does not marry Mr Smith........

Well, with some sorts of monogramming, the last initial goes in the middle, which would make him sni.

As long as you don't call him sin, nobody should have a problem with it. It shouldn't matter if his initials are sin. It does matter if you CALL him Sin by name. A little ridiculous.

I like his name but not why you named him that. Why would you put the word SIN into a baby's name? Babies are born innocent and like most of use, will "sin" as he gets older but to be "branded" with that is just mean.

I think that's cool. He's your baby and that gives you the right to name him whatever you want. Who cares what other people think.

he can always change his name when he gets older -- you can change his name for him too -- parents were made to be irritable and disagreeable. they will do their best to destroy your life every chance they get. don't let them get to you.
