I've already asked, but I'd like to narrow the answers down to one-syllable girl names. Her first name will be Audrey, and PLEASE do not refer me to another website! Thanks! :)

what are the rules about car seats? My son is almost 10 months old and it seems like he is too big for his rear facing car seat. I was just wondering if anyone knew the age or weight for a baby to switch to a foward facing one?

Back up your opinion - I need all the ammunition I can get to convinve my sister-in-law that I'm not crazy, and that no, I really DON'T want to give the Baby Einstein videos a try. My son is going to have his whole life to watch TV, why plunk him in front of it now, while his brain is still developing so rapidly? (He's 8 months old).

I just don't remember what age it was with my older kids. And I don't want to call my doctor over something silly. My baby is 13 months old and I believe she has to wait until she's two....but just want to be sure. Thanks!

I am expecting a little one soon and am trying to make up my mind about cloth diapers .vs. disposable diapers.I am not getting enough info about how the cloth diapers work. I cannot afford a diaper service and will have to do the washing myself. Are there any liners etc thatI need to buy with the cloth diapers? How does the system work?

Hi- before I begin, let me stress that I HAVE CALLED THE DOCTOR AND WILL BE GOING TO SEE HIM IN ONE HOUR!!! OK, that being said, my 6 month old was eating his bottle and drifting off to sleep when his entire body started shaking. I had to sort of wake him up, and he kept shaking, I put him on the floor on his side and he stopped shaking, and got irritated and started crying. He has no fever, but has had a runny nose for a couple of days. I know it can be common WITH a fever, but Gabriel has no fever! I am totally freaked out! Anyone else's baby go through this? What can I expect at the doctor's office? Thanks a lot :)

Everyone in my family, except my parents, and her dad's whole family smokes. It's so hard to bring her over to anyone's house to visit because she cannot handle the smoke in her lungs. If we don't bring her over to visit then it seems like I'm the bad person for keeping her from them. We've brought her over to his sisters and parents and even after telling them that she cannot be by cigarrette smoke, they just go about 10 feet away and light up a ciggarrtte anyways...it's like hello...smoke will travel especially over an open floor plan. They don't want to listen and I don't want her to end up in the hospital again after being in there 2 weeks. PLease.....what would you do?

I have been sleeping my 2 month old in my bed with me since day 1. I breastfeed so its alot easier to have him next to me at night. Well, in order to do this I had to send my husband to sleep on the couch. We both had enough of this arrangement and want the baby in his crib, but everytime I put him down in it he cries and cries. Ive tried putting him down asleep, awake , and half asleep. Everytime he wakes up very alert and refuses to sleep in there. I dont want things to get worse so I want to take care of this now that he is only 2 months. Oh and please dont tell me to try the ferber method. I did with a previous child and absolutely cant do that again. It is too hearbreaking for me. Please give me some suggestions so I can have my husband back . By the way, my sons crib is in my room next to my bed, so I am very close to him.
