everything is normal, it depends if you are breastfeeding or not, also just depends on your body. I got my first postpartum period around 8 or 9 weeks also. But it really varies, some women don't get theirs for a year or more.

If you breastfeed, you might not get your period until you stop breastfeeding. With my first, I got it about 9 months after giving birth (although my daughter was still breastfeeding). With my second, I still haven't gotten one, and my 13-month old son is still breastfeeding.

I didn't get mine until my son was 12 months old. Even some moms who exclusively nurse get it back right away. Sorry;-(

this is strictly what happended to me! I bled for 4 weeks then stopped for each week then began heavy agin for yet another 2 weeks. I breastfed as nicely. it is your era, yet no longer likely this quickly after the child. whilst i began out my first era when I had my son, I KNEW it became into my era as i became into cramping undesirable and felt terrible, it became into approximately 2 and a million/2 months when I had him.
