My daughter's fontanelle was sunken this morning and now I'm freaking out! Ever since she started solid foods, I've been nervous. She was formerly exclusively BF until six months, and then I introduced solids. Now she takes in two solid meals a day and the milk intake went down to maybe 4 liquid servings a day. Problem is when she was drinking BM, that's how she got her fluids - i never had to worry about it because my body took care of everything. Now with teh sunken head she obviously needs fluids. What should I do? She doesn't really know how to use a cup, or rather she can drink out of a cup if I hold it for her. She doesn't know how to use a tippy either. I also fear that the water will fill her up and she won't take in any more BM. Right now at this age she still needs it and since she's such a finicky eater (eating mostly fruits, yogurt, and one or two veggies) I don't trust her solid intake to replace the milk. (I'm a first time mom, can't you tell). Thanks.
