I use cloth diapers and recently have read on Answers! that "pocket diapers" are good for traveling. What are they and where can I get them?

If so Read the article that starts on page 71. "Baby Mealtime Makeover". There is a list at the bottom of page 73 about Taboo foods. They list Honey and Corn Syrup (Which would be Karo Syrup). These can BOTH cause botulism poisoning. I always see a lot of people recommending putting Karo Syrup in a baby's bottle if they are constipated and this can KILL your baby. DO NOT give these to children under 1 year of age. The risk might be low, but why take the risk with your child's health?

My 11-month old has long since outgrown her portable changing pad that came with the diaper bag. Does a bigger (longer) changing pad exist? If so, could you give me the name, preferably a link to it, and where to buy it? Thanks! :)

I know I have to work on my metabolism, so can anyone give me a good meal plan (like the five little meals you're supposed to eat to raise your metabolism) which has helped you? I just don't know where to start. What is good to eat when and how much of what.. can you guys just give me an idea of what I should eat throughout the day.. I'm desperate to get this baby weight off!! Thanks so much!

That baby of course being my Yahoo! Avatar as I have not successfully impregnated a woman as of yet, thank God! The name I am using is obviously a fake Internet moniker as I am not an idiot. Still, I would like some suggestions of what you think I should rename myself. This will give you, the Yahoo! Answerer the chance to make a lasting decision as the person I designate as best answer will get to name ME and I won't change the name for at least a month. You can either use some of my suggestions or use some of your own.
Prefix: Mr, Awesome, Commander, Sir
First Names: Alessandro, Alejandro, Awesome
Middle Names: (none) Josef, James, John, et cetera
Last Names: Valere, Valentino, Valentine, et cetera
Extras: Esquire, Theodore Logan, Excelsior, et cetera

Any replies, either real or jokes would be greatly appreciated, thanks for massaging my ego for a little while, I wanted to make a good use of my 5 points and I will reward you handsomely if I enjoy your idea(s) and choose your answer!!

I have a 4 month old daugther, who still sleeps in her bassinet, well until tonight. I have been putting her in her crib during the day for naps so she would get use to it, and well tonight she cried when I put her down in her bassinet and just would not settle down, so I decided well lets try the crib and well shes out like a light. She wanted her crib, me on the other hand, Im not ready for this step, but I gotta let her sleep in the crib cause shes soon going to be out of the bassinet anyways. Im such a proud mommy right now, I can't believe she decided on her own she wanted to sleep in her crib. I just wanted to tell you all, and see if anyone else is at this step, taking baby out of their room to sleep and how they deal with it. Im just going nuts, wondering if I will hear in the morning even though I have the monitor on. How do other parents cope with this big change??

I was orignally pregnant in February 2006 with triplets. I miscarried one baby when I was around 6-8 weeks. I carried twins then until they were born. However, I found out at my 30 week appointment that my son wasn't alive. I then had to carry my daughter (and my deceased son) for another 5 1/2 weeks. I delivered them both by c-section. My daughter was in the NICU for 20 days and is now 4 months old. We are still grieving the death of my son. Its been a bitter/sweet ordeal, having one survive though has helped. By that I mean, I've had to focus of keeping myself healthy to care for her. I also have a 5 year old son who will be 6 in a few months. He is still grieving as well and I feel awful seeing him upset about our little angel. I didn't want an autopsy. The doctor doesn't know what happened other than it probably had something to do with his cord. It was clotted when he was born, so we're not sure if that caused his death or happened afterwards.

I used to work in a day-care center, and I noticed one girl that seems to be very advanced for her age..

is it normal for a 12 month old baby to talk in sentences.. such as "I want that." "I want the apple." "Look at that book?" "The book is on top of the table."

My 1yo sucks his thumb to the point that is skin cracks and gets sores on it. I want him to still have the comfort of sucking it because I have heard that you can't break a thumb sucker. Is there anything I can put on it and isnt harmful if ingested?

Does your boy take after his father in regards to penis size? I heard somewhere it correlates to the father's side, while I've also heard it can be from the mother's side. I'd say my husband is probably a little above average but my poor little boy has almost nothing.

Looking for a baby video I found once long ago: Black, white & red computer animated graphics set to move in time to different classical music pieces. Can anyone think of the name of this video or the company who produced it?
Thanks!!

Is it possible to put a newborn on a schedule??? My son is almost 2 weeks old and I seriously think he has his days and nights mixed up. He has taken one good nap today and the rest of the time he is either wide awake which is fine, but when it comes time for bed he doesnt want to sleep. He will start to fall asleep and when I lay him in his crib he wakes up and cries. The only way I can get a little sleep is if I lay him on my chest. I know I cant keep doing that though. Is it ok to lay him in his crib and let him cry himself to sleep? I dont know what to do. I feel like I am going crazy! I just want to do things the right way. This is my first baby, and I am lost. Please help!!!

I'm nursing my newborn. My grandmother told me to be sure to dry up my milk when I finish nursing him, or else it will go to my legs? What does she mean by this?
