I use cloth diapers and recently have read on Answers! that "pocket diapers" are good for traveling. What are they and where can I get them?

Any other good convenience products?

Pocket diapers are the best for travelling! You can add extra inserts or even a prefold for naps, nighttime, or car travel. I mainly use fuzzi bunz, they have snaps so my streaker of a son has a hard time taking them off like the velcro. I've travelled down the country 3x in the last year using them. Never touched a disposable!
Here are some reviews on different ones:you can find online stores on these directories, shop around sometimes you can get a deal on free shipping or a package.

At home, I use a dry pail to put dirty ones in. On the road I use a "wet bag", here's some reviews on different ones

I add a few drops of lavender or tea tree oil inside the bag-no stinkies!

I also have a waterproof pad that I slip under my son when changing him. I use cloth wipes (we're hardcore hippies lol) and throw them on that pad, wrap it up and throw it in the wetbag.

Send me a message if you have any questions!

I love using pocket diapers. They are a bit pricey, but they last a long time and have a remarkably good resale value. Check on Ebay or Craigslist if you want to get a few to try out.

I like them because you put the absorbant padding inbetween the fleece and waterproof layers when you get them out of the laundry and then you have a diaper ready that you can just throw on easier than a paper diaper! They wick wetness away amazingly well, so the baby doesn't get a rash and (toddler) poops just roll right off, so you don't have to dunk them in the toilet. i just stick them in a waterproof bag when out and about and deal with tham at home.

We have a bunch of Happy heineys. i like them better than Fuzzi Bunz because they use velcro not snaps. Snaps are hard to do up on a wiggly baby.

Another cloth user, Great I love cloth too.

I use mainly tots bots (white, rainbow and bamboozles) as every day, but I have 4 fuzzi bunz pocket nappies (sorry Brit can't bring myself to say diapers). Pocket nappies are all in one with a fleece inner and waterproof outer. In the middle you put a a type of booster or 2 if you want extra absorbency. They are quick drying, the actual nappy very quickly, the 'filling' needs a bit longer.

Got to say had I tried the fuzzis earlier I would have got more. They are GREAT for out and about as they are 1 piece making changes quicker and little one's bum smaller under clothes. I save mine for when we are going out. On the downside they are not as absorbent as 2-part ones but otherwise can't fault them. OOhh loads of fab colours too so they look really cute

I got mine from a UK site babykind, this link and others below.

good luck (there are other pockets but I have only tried these as they seem to be most popular)

Do a quick search with "pocket diapers" in quotes.
