It is a cold day here in Northren CA. It is only suppose to reach 64 degrees today ( It is now only 53 degress and sunny at 11:18 AM PST) And I plan to take my two boys out to the park at around 12:30 -1:00 PM. It will be my 2 week old's first time to the park and not sure what he should wear. He will have a hat on, but most of his clothes don't fit because he is so small. ( 6 lbs. 6 oz. & 18 " long - Born at 36 weeks) What should he wear??? Any ideas?? He will be out in the sun.

I am totally devoted to breastfeeding my little guy. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant and have a few questions because my family just always bottle feed their kids and I bottle feed my first baby. She is now currently three years old and I didn't breastfeed her because I was younger and had a crazy schedule.
Now I am a stay-at-home mom that is going to return back to work after he is born and I need to know the one thing that you used that you would recommend every breadfeeding mother to have. What bottles did you use when you pumped, and what pump did you use? Is a boppy necessary or does it just make life easier. How do I involve my husband in on feeding schedule? What was the best brand of nurding bras that you used, and when your milk did come in how much of a size jump did you go through with your bras? I am already a big cheasted woman and I don't want to go buy nursing bras that fit now and then a few days after he is born none of them fit. Just womdering an average so .....

I have a 10 month old boy who is quite hyper especially in the evenings, but he also sleeps a lot. He still takes 2 two-hour naps during the day and sleeps at least 10 hour at night. Because of our current living situation he has slept with his dad and me from day one. He will wake to breastfeed once or twice during the night. He always wakes up happy. He gets hyper towards the evening and also a little awnry (okay, a lot awnry). He will slap at us and pull hair and whine. He has never been exposed to any type of violence so I don't understand where this is coming from. He is a redhead and at times his temperment fits the redhead image, but I doubt that is the cause of his temper. He is a very good eater and not very particular. He is growing well. He had never been ill up until a 2 weeks ago when he got a cold. Any words of wisdom from moms and dads out there?

She will be 3 mos. tomorrow.
She sleeps through the night but won't sleep until midnight or after. My husband and I are really tired at 9:00!
She gets fussy until we walk her around and then falls asleep on one of our shoulders. Then we put her in the crib and sometimes wakes up and we have to do it all over again.
She is fine and relaxed during the day, don't think that she has colik.
We try to do the bathtime/book routine but doesn't work to do it at 7 pm...Any suggestions?

i have an almost 7 month old she wil be 7 months on teh 29th.. well she as been taking a sippy cup with her formula she dnt want the bottle much anymore and if she is taing a cup why shoul i worry about giving her bottle .. but here is the thing.. should she still be taking a bottle? is there anythign wrong with giving her a sippy cup? i mean if she wants it that is good right? and is getting her formual still we dont give her regular milk and she is drinking her juice. Do u see a problem with not giving her a bottle anymore and just going to sippy cup? or is that wrong. I figured if she is taking a cup and drinking from it at all times why do a bottle we can break her from it.

Pardon me for my stupidness.. my baby is going to be a month old... I'm sandwiches between my wife, mother-in-law and my mum.. each have different opinion... my wife don't have enough breast-milk and so i have to give my baby formula milk(enfalac).. so my mother-in-law will feed the baby 90ml whenever the baby is crying... my mum say that not to feed the baby whenever she cry.. use the pacificer and feed the baby like every 2 hour as the baby do not know she is full or hungry... my wife is mad at me cause i'm not hearing/doing what my mother-in-law say... I AM STRESS... what should i do??

I have a gorgeous 4 month daughter who i've just about trained to sleep at approx set times in the evenings. She usually wakes only twice for feeds before nodding off again.
Lately, her gums are hard and she wakes up crying and trying to scratch her ear. Are these the signs for teething or is there a possibility that it is something else like maybe an ear infection?. Any advice would be great.

My daughter is three months old and seems to "fake cry" when she wants attention. Sometimes I will be doing something like making dinner and she is lying in the next room when I suddenly hear her shout. I rush over and as soon as she sees my face, she smiles at me. Is she learning how to manipulate already?

Sometimes I will lay my three-month-old daughter in her crib to fall asleep. She'll play in there for a bit, watch her hands and she looks completely content... then out of nowhere, just screams. What is that all about?

Some background - I'm 13,last month I gave birth to mypremature born twin daughters, one is still at the hospital and the other is with me at home already a week.
She doesn't stop crying. All the time! After I feed her, change her diapers, rock her,do everything, she doesn't sleep, but just cries(my parents help me but I'm the one who does almost everything on my babies).Crying the whole nights and days. When she cries I'm afraid she doesn't breathe. But she doesn't have mulligrubs(the doctor has said that). Is it just her temper or the fact she was born premature(in the 7th month) or the fact I can't breastfeed her because my breasts are not well developed and it's very painful for me?Would the other baby be the same too?
Are there new mothers who would like to write with me and we could help each other with advice?

This is not a Question but more of a survey or poll.
They say and we all know that the only way a baby/infant can communcate is to cry and they cry for everything they need( food, ill, diaper, cold, hot, bored, tired, unconvertable, want to be held, teething) now if non of these was the problem would you as a parent just put them back in the crib or would you try anything to comfort them. Some say to much holding can spoil the child and putting them back in the crib when nothing is wrong will help them learn how to comfort them self. And putting them back will make them feel unloved.

I am 4 weeks away from my due date with my first and if this was the case with me I would do anything in my will power to make my baby happy and healthy. If that means picking him up evertime he crys.

So like I said what would you do as parent(s)?

I have a 7-month baby girl who used to sleep beautifully at night. Lately, however, she will go to sleep around 7 or 8 and wake back up at 11 thinking it is time to play! She's been crawling for a while and just a week ago learned how to pull herself up into a standing position...so she does this in her crib (or in our bed!). I try to pat her and make her go to sleep, but she just tries to turn it into a game. I'll give her a bottle as a last resort and she will sleep for another couple of hours, and then wake up again thinking it is time for her to play! She doesn't cry when she wakes up...she simply romps around. What am I supposed to do!? I am getting really frustrated and I don't like being frustrated with my daughter. What can I do to help this situation?
